On October 21, 2024, the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Bureau of Professional and Occupational Affairs and Gloria Nail And Spa, license no. CY014078, came to a Consent Agreement regarding allegations that the salon operated incompetent, unethical, and dishonest manner through the possession of metal rasp tools; failed to have a consumer protection sticker displayed; and failed to post a "No Smoking" sign.
A civil penalty of $5,500 as well as a public reprimand placed on their permanent disciplinary record was issued by the Board.
