August of 2022. Neighbor called Speedy rooter and son for a underground pipe that busted and flooded my basement as well as hers with sewage water. The company came over and did the work. Even said they had it inspected before leaving. January of 2023. Water started coming through the wall in the basement (My young daughters room). My daughter ran and told me. I contacted the landlord who is the owner of next door. She came over and cleaned up her side to try and stop the leaking over my side. Needless to say it damaged the wall that was previously put in from the prior damage... (The neighbor paid for that repair.) The wall and my daughters flooring needed ripped down and into due to the nasty water that came from next door. The renter next door called another company to come in and evaluate things (She did not trust or like Speedy rooter). The new plumber came over the following day. He said when the other plumber put things back together he did not put a pipe on right and it popped and caused the flooding. He even took pictures and called Speedy rooter and son. After they talked the next day Speedy rooter and son came out and repaired the pipe!! The neighbor called her insurance and filed a claim for the damage done on my side. I called mine. BOTH said it was completely Speedy rooter and sons fault and to call and have them file a "Commercial Liability claim" with their insurance. I have been trying to contact them for over a week, First the lady said "She wasn't in" Then it changed to a him. After that they just kept saying " Give me your name and number and I will have them call you back." I called today 2 times. First time went right to a voicemail. Second, rang and rang, then went to a voicemail. I've heard they do this frequently when people go to complain. I just REALLY need help.. or please suggest what my next step should be. I hope that address is right. They only have a PO BOX on their work receipts and no actual address. Found that one on a yelp post.

The neighbor had a broken hose trap WHICH CAUSED THE SEWER TO BACK UP IN THE BASEMENT!  WE WERE CALLED TO DO THE REPAIR AND IT WAS INSPECTED BY THE CITY!  THE SEWER CAN STILL BACK UP EVEN IF THIS REPAIR IS DONE. IT CAN BACK UP THROUGH Laundry lines,  floor drains and break seals on fittings due to pressure in the pipes. We are not responisble for clog lines just because a repair was done. It is recommmended you get the foundation wall addressed so water and sewer cant come into your property from ajoining properties.  Otherwise the problem can reaccur when the tenants flush things and clog the line! Thank you,

I am rejecting this response because:
Neighbors insurance company and the owner  called Speedy rooter and son to come back out once another plumber was contacted and told the pipe ( Not the underground one) was PUT ON WRONG due to it being on an angle. No one is disputing the underground piping. It is the other piping that was connected back inappropriately. Which resulted into the flooding. I have contacted the neighbor and their insurance with this information and I am sure they will be contacting Speedy rooter and son again. IF they actually answer and communicate with someone. Supposedly neighbors' insurance talked to Speedy rooter and son and that is where they came to the conclusion it was their fault (Speedy rooter and son). Not their clients. So I would greatly appreciate someone contacting or talking with the insurance companies. This is out of hand.

The angle on the pipe had nothing to do with the flooding! That is called a sewer back up from tenants flushing things down the line!   And if things are coming over to the ajoining property then there is foundation issue for that to even occur! This is my final response! ******

Ok, First .... I had my property and foundation just done. Our building is  on a downward hill. Which hey science, causes water to pull towards the slope and after sitting there WILL seep through walling. She would have to get her basement waterproofed in order for it to not happen on her side to mine. That is another issue for another day. I am just giving you as I have given the owner of the property an advanced notice. I am contacting lawyers and taking this to court for the judge to decide who is at fault. I am hearing two different stories. Do you have proof of the last leak not being your fault from a messed-up sealant or angle not being  properly installed which caused the pipe to come out/ burst open? I am just trying to get both sides. And EVERYTIME I have personally tried reaching out to use about your side or figuring out what happened use pass me off. To the point where I had to reach out to BBB for use to even respond. You already know her story. She has told you. What I need to know is did use talk to her insurance claim adjuster? He and she said you did. And that is whatever you said to them, that is why she is not at fault and that he suggested that use are to blame. Hence why I am reaching out or tried to. I get it... this is frustrating, how do you think I feel? I'm having to go through all this crap, and I should have no part in this. Let alone have to be the one in the middle trying to find some resolution. Anyways. If you say it is not your companies' fault, then please provide me with any info possible on the 2nd job that use went back to. She said another plumber contacted your office and sent you photos of the messed-up pipe? And that is why use came back out the following day and did not charge her. Because USE messed up. Is that what happened? Could you please explain what happened so I can go to court and have both sides to present. If not then it's leaning more on her side for the better is what I have been told. Here's your chance. This is my last response before legal actions are taken. So do with this as you will. Cooperate with your side or tell the judge when I have to take you along with her to court for damages. I'm sorry if this is aggravating. I am beyond aggravated and just want things clarified from both angles.
