I purchased a ***** lift away vacuum *****. Decision to purchase this model was because of the picture on the All About Vacuums website showing that the canister would lift away allowing the motorized head staying connected to hose & pill allowing you to vacuum under furniture. After receiving & assembling the vacuum it does NOT offer that feature. I would NEVER have ordered it. I called and emailed All About Vacuums and they simply said to follow the return instructions from their website and that they would evaluate my refund after receiving the return. Well I went to *** and was quoted $165 return cost and USPS $145 on a $199 item! In addition to a possible restocking fee. I have called, emailed and requested a return address label. I also contacted ***** about their distributor and was told that All About Vacuums is not an authorized dealer. All about Vacuums has a horrible return policy and no customer service care at all.

On 11/30/2022, I purchased a **** ******* ** Premium canister vacuum on the phone from Bob after asking what the difference was bwt the upright ** **** and canister as I intended to buy the upright. He said the hose swiveled to easily change direction, it didn't tip-over, it was easy to move, the power control was on the handle for ease of use, it laid flat to reach in more places etc. I purchased the vacuum while on the phone and didn't read the return policy and he didn't advise me to. He stayed on the phone IN silence, until he received confirmation of the sale on his computer. I received the vacuum today 12/1/22 around 12pm. I opened & put it together to test it. It did not roll easily, it turned upside down after pulling normally across a short pile rug, the hose was large and unmanageable and did not swivel easily at all, the floor height adjustment was a manual dial on the power brush along with the power button. The upright vacuum I intended to buy adjusts automatically to floor height and the power button is on the handle--two things Bob did not say were different & normally you don't lose features with a more expensive model. The vacuum didn't perform as Bob said, & I bought it for my mother who has back problems. Before I called the store I checked the return policy online and in big letters at the top it says "100% Satisfaction guaranteed." The first few lines state you must contact within the first 31 days & merchandise must be in new condition. Also I was responsible for shipping both ways, which meant I had to pay their cost to ship overnight, plus an 18% re-stocking fee. I called &Bill asked if I tried the machine, I said yes and it wasn't what I expected and wanted to return it. He said they didn't accept used vacuums, I argued and he insisted I go look at the policy again, then told me he was going to hang up because I wasn't being nice. The unit is "like new" and I have all the packing materials etc. It hasn't even been 24 hours.

Date of Transaction - 4/30/2022 Paid - $34.95 Order # ***** All About Vacuums was suppose to send original ***************-********* filter (as the packing slip attached below states)Issue: Received a non-Dyson filter. The buiness says that because the description on the product on the website (https://www.allaboutvacuums.com/product/**************-filter-************/) states "***** Replacement Stick Vacumm Filter" it is clear to the consumer that it isn't an original Dyson filter and no refund is due. Seller won't issue a refund. Requested a refund and a return lable if they wan't it back.
