In June 2023 I hired ** to put a fence up. Then other jobs followed. ***** either damaged my property while working, an example; working on the front porch, he was hammering something that he said needed fixed, his actions resulted in cracking the wall on the inside of the house, it continues to crack damaging the whole wall, or while putting a kitchen floor in, he cracked my countertop, etc. If not damaging then he did not finish the job, such as putting the trim back up after the flooring was complete, he put a new type of door up in my bathroom and it did not fit in the door frame, so he caulked where the door hinges and the k*** once existed. He never painted the door, no doorknob to get out, and it is shockingly bad work. I have all text messages. He wrote that he would fix what he has damaged, and he will finish the work he started. I asked him repeatedly and finally today, he sent me a text that he is not scared of me, he has other things to do, and he will get to it when he can. He put lights in outside and they did not work, he told me to buy a power box. I bought it, he put it up and they still do not work. I bought a new ring doorbell that he put up and it did not work. he took it down and it is still laying on my table. When he has painted, paint went wherever - v. sloppy. At times, I did his work over. His reason for things that are not finished is that I need to get the materials. This is not true. He has everything he needs. I even offer to buy him lunches. However, I am not buying materials that he needs to fix his damages. I do need to buy new trim because the trim he removed is missing! He put up 2 posts under the porch roof to keep it up. My handicapped cousin leaned on one post, and it was not attached to the porch! I have witnesses and pictures I will post. He is not a businessman in any sense of the word.
