October 25, 2022 Stephen H***** of MidState Epoxy presented me with an estimate for epoxying my old kitchen countertop. I paid Mr. H***** a deposit of $1133.25 on 10/25/22 through my ***** ******* credit card. My husband and I offered to deliver my countertop to Mr. H*****'s business on November 1, 2022. Mr. H***** offered to pick up the countertops in Selinsgrove, PA from my husband saving us 49 minutes. In the time between October 25 and November 1, my husband contacted Mr. H***** to ask if we could send a new sink to his business for my kitchen countertop to fit it properly. Mr. H***** was accommodating. The kitchen sink was delivered to MidState Epoxy on November 4, 2022 from **** *****. Mr. H***** informed me he would facetime call with me to show me some sample boards of how he could do my kitchen countertop. He never did. I have attached a timeline to show a series of text messages. Due to a lack of communication and failure to produce any samples or product, I texted and emailed a request to Mr. H***** asking that he return my full deposit of $1133.25, unfinished kitchen countertops, and kitchen sink by December 23, 2022 or I would contact my credit card and file fraudulent charges, as well as file a BBB claim and report it on ********. I have included his response on December 12, 2022. He did not make any arrangement to correct or complete this matter. I have not received any communication from Mr. H***** as of this date. He still has my kitchen countertops, sink, and deposit. I have contacted my credit card ***** ******* ****. They informed me they would file a complaint and credit my account once the claim was reviewed. I have attached a timeline of communication with Mr. H*****, receipts for the deposit and my sink that was delivered to him. Thank you for your help in this matter. Please let me know, if you need anything further. ************.
