I am a current subscriber to the Erie Times e-edition. Shortly after Thanksgiving, I was suddenly unable to access my subscription. I have phoned Customer Service no less than 10 times for help. They have admitted it is on their end but said the problem would be “escalated” to their IT department and the would contact me. I have been hung up on during a transfer to IT, my call has been dropped, no one calls me back. I have tried to cancel my subscription and instead the say they are going to fix it, meanwhile they are charging my credit card each month.Initial Complaint

Subscription to Erie Times Newspaper cancelled 9/14/21 due to not receiving paper for over a month. Last payment was 8/18/21 -- I have an outstanding refund of $93.26. When cancelled paper, Jasper, representative indicated I would receive refund within 3-5 business days. End of September, Times News went to new phone system and no contact could be made. Called 10/15/21 - representative indicated credit applied directly to checking account. Inaccurate as Times News does not have access to my checking account & verified with bank, no credit applied. Called again 10/22/21, spoke to Hope, indicated refund to be sent asap, offered managers 800 phone number, which is a phone loop to the representatives. Several attempts made to work with Times News to obtain my refund. I would like my refund of $93.26 in a check sent to my home address. I do not want credit towards "Go ERIE" their on line subscription plan.Business response

Please accept this as confirmation we have received a complaint from your offices regarding Ms. ******** and her refund issues. We have requested our finance department research the refund and void the check if not cashed. Once located, we have asked that they reissue the check and mail it to the address within this complaint. This process can take up to 45 days to research, process and receive.
