I received a collection bill for 119.97 dollars and I know I don't have any unpaid bills. I sent back a letter disputing the  bill and they were supposed to tell me who claims I owe them money but they did not. I see from the BBB website that there have been several complaints about receiving collection bills from this company and for the exact same amount of 119.97–what a coincidence!!!! One of the complaints stated it was a CBD oil company that turned them over to collection and I did order some CBD oil about 4-5 months ago but paid in full for it with no further contact with that company. One complaint stated that the CBD oil company worked out of the same building as the Tate and Kirlin company so I am sure they are working together.

About a year ago, I purchased a free sample of cbd oil was sent by *** just pay for shipping and handling. I bought the one item of cbd oil paid for just the shipping and handling of the product, then I get two other charges on my card that I didn't or authorize, When I called them to cancel any further transaction it sound like it was coming from someone house cause I heard a lot of talking in the background like kids talking. Fast forward to November 10, 2021, I get two letters in the mail from a Tate & Kirlin Associate, Inc. saying I owe two different payments of $119.97 from *** *******. I'm tired of calling these people telling them I didn't authorizes these transactions, but I think it's time to escalate to get these scammers to stop. I have seen on other reviews they have a collection agency who apparently resides in the same building and they scam together against the elderly. At least that is what it appears. Its time to take action I need this to stop.

About a year ago I made the mistake of falling for a scam for a free sample of CBD oil from *** *******. I felt pretty confident it was a scam when, after finishing the order, I was directed to porn popups. I immediately did some research and realized that I most certainly have been scammed and that somewhere, hidden on the order pages, is most likely some agreement to recurring charges for an inflated amount. Recognizing that I had just done something stupid, that I swore to myself I would never let happen, I immediately cancelled my credit card. Weeks later I did receive a tiny bottle of a completely different brand CBD oil than what I ordered. I promptly threw in the trash for obvious reasons. Months went by and then I received a collection letter. I believe it was for the same $119.97 shown in the attached letter. Then I made my next stupid move and called the debt collector and let them convince me to just pay the one-time fee, considering I did receive the product, even though it was the wrong oil and most certainly not $120.00 worth. I figured it was worth paying to just be done with these crooks and consider it a lesson learned. Little did I know I just set myself up for the next part of the scam, because here I am, a year later, being hit with another debt collection. I will add that I have not received any more oil, since the bottle I threw away a year ago. I believe these two companies are working together to rip off poor suckers, like myself. There must be something that can be done to shut down these low-life crooks!

I received a letter from Tate & Kirlin Associates, ******************************************************************************************************************** Stating that I owe $2813.32 for an account with Citibank (South Dakota) N.A. (original creditor) to LVNV Funding LLC (current creditor) and that if I pay them 50% of the balance that they will accept that to satisfy this account. I have never had any accounts or transactions with Citibank so I am disputing this debt and would like to file a complaint.

I received at phone call from Tate and Kirlin 10/22/21 stating I owed $1,028.76 in debt to ***** * ** from 2017. I told the caller I have never used ***** * ** but the caller was adamant that I could "pay $900 today and they'll close the complaint". I told the caller I wasn't giving them any money as the initial debt wasn't made by me. It immediately felt like a scam call as the caller kept insisting that if I pay them today I wouldn't have to pay the entire amount. I have never been to ***** * **, never received a call or mail from them about this debt, and this debt was supposedly from 2017. Today, 10/25/21 I received a letter from Tate and Kirlin about my debt to ***** * **. In their letter they stated the current creditor isn't ***** * ** but is now ****** ***** *******. From their letter they had an original account #******** and reference #********. Please look into this. This supposed debt is from 4 years ago. I know, with 100% certainty, that I have never used ***** * ** and whole heartedly think this is a scam.
