Work was done by Omega Electric in November of 2021 to move the main electrical panel and upgrade the box in the location where a sub-panel was located. The job required connections to the original panel to be junctioned in the location of the original panel. The day after the job was completed Omega Electric had to come out and redo a lot of the work because they had miswired the service for the Dryer. The dryer needed 240 Volts and it was only getting 120 Volts. They found numerous other issues that required them to spend the whole Saturday repairing. On Thursday 5/5/22 we needed to turn the AC unit on for the first time this season. It was not needed for the time in between the electrical work and that date because the weather was colder. The AC unit did not function correctly so I called the AC service that I had. The service discovered the same issue with the AC that happened with the Dryer originally, the AC unit needed 240 Volts and was only getting 120 Volts. The AC service discovered that the connection from the breaker to the junction box was wrong and causing the issue. The AC service corrected the issue and I had to pay $324 for the work and $79 for the call for a $403 total. I approached Omega Electric for reimbursement of the expense incurred due to their work being incorrect and they are refusing to reimburse.
