My mother found the business online. We went to the business to test drive cars and settled on the Jetta. I signed onto a holding fee and signed the official purchasing papers on 6/25. Upon driving uphill on the way home I found the car shaking at 40mph up when uphill. I took the car in to my mechanic (*********************** of ****** auto repair) on 7/1 for it to be checked and an oil change. He found the right front axel was bad and replaced it as well as did work on the drive shaft. During the inspection he discovered rusting beyond a pass by the state inspection standards. ***** recommended a referee inspection. On the 7/15 the car was returned for work on the left rear door hatch and washer hose. Between 7/15 and 8/2 a new sound appeared and on 8/2 it was returned to the mechanic who found the exhaust gasket and stud rusted away at the manifold with the bolts also rusted. The flex pipe was likewise replaced with the wrong pipe before purchase and this was finally replaced with a proper flex pipe. On 8/15 the car struggled to accelerate, producing a metallic odor and squealing which continues. An appointment for a referee inspection was made and cancelled followed by a miscommunication for another. **** found out and reached out via phone. I gave a brief detail of the receipts and issue. **** had offered the possibility of helping with costs (Though also at purchase stated the sale was as is.) On 10/20 a referee inspection (by Consumer protection officer ********************** was performed whereupon the drivers side rocker panel failed the car for inspection. At this time, I contacted **** via email with the receipts referring to his earlier offer. He said the shop he would use would not do the work due to their failing the inspection and left it open ended. My lawyer advised a letter be sent and he be responsible for contact between myself and ****. The car was taken to ********* autobody 10/30 where it was found to need 5008.79 of work.

**************** reported this inspection issue to the state police and they sent out an inspector to the inspection station to investigate.  The inspection mechanic was fined. The state inspection referee had the inspection stickers removed from the car  This is an inspection issue, not a sales issue and **************** had the state police handle the issue. I'm not sure how much help I can be since all of this happened 4 months after the sale of the car.

Bought a truck from Tony last Thursday. Told me it needed a cam sensor. Upon driving home the front left tire was flat, after barely making it to the gas station i filled the tire. I knew the engine light was on and scheduled to drop it off at the garage I go to look at it. They checked the oil, it wasn't even on the dipstick. So it was on his lot being test driven with no oil in it. They inspected the rest of the truck. Found multiple issues. I bought the truck 5 days ago, drove it ONCE to my garage and it NEEDS A MOTOR REPLACED. I called the owner to tell him about it, he said it's my fault and he isn't liable. He was VERY unprofessional talking down to me and yelling at me on the phone. He told me "your alone in this world, you knew the truck had an issue and now your mad it has an issue" I offered to return the truck for one of equal value. He got loud and said he DEFINITELY won't give me a truck worth the 7,000 I wasted on this one. He said he will give me fleet price for the truck. Said I can't give it back and get a refund. Maybe he will give me a discount if I let him fix the motor. I see MANY more one stars on his reviews so I know he does this often. I'm seeing over 20 people on his complaints that have had this same exact thing happen. He illegally inspects his cars. Nothing is looked at on them and they are extremely unsafe to be on the road. He steals people's money and lies to them. This business needs to be closed and he needs to face fraud charges for lieing to all of his customers. I have a picture 4 days after purchasing the truck of proof that it needs an engine. I drove the truck once. Attached is the picture. I can send more proof if need be.

*** ****** knowingly bought this truck with a problem.  It is on his signed paperwork.  He is upset the repair cost is more than he thought it would be.  I offered help and he told me to "go XXXX myself".

Everything he wrote about me was a stone cold lie.

We went to look for our daughter's first car on May 14th 2022. There was a 2001 **** ****** for $5000 that we were thinking would be a good fit. We told the owner that we needed some time to think about it. They stated we would need to put $200 as a deposit so that they could hold the vehicle while we decide. After discussing, we decided the vehicle was too large and stunk extremely bad of cigarettes. We went back with the paperwork to get our $200 back 2 days later and the owner refused. He acted as if he didn't remember who we were and only said we could get another car on the lot. We want our $200 deposit back for a vehicle we decided not to buy 2 days later.

In the complaint it states no name, I am not able to help without knowing the person.  If this person made a $200 payment for us to prepare a car for them for sale then they were well aware that there are no refunds on this service but we do not charge the same service fee if they choose to buy a different car.
