  Good Morning Sir or Ma'am,Contractor's considerations during the entire process have been underdeveloped. They lack professionalism, promote poor business practices and manipulate details to access payment without properly completing each phase of the work . The company has undermined good faith invested in their business. Many instances of poor communication and lack of knowledge during the overall experience have been clear now leaving our home riddled with safety concerns. The owner and subcontractors have poorly lead and designed every the majority of the addition being built thus far. Stopping them from proceedings due to clear their poor craftsmanship after being questioned on reasonable unmet building standards. The lack of care and consideration has left of home in a poor condition. Detailed analysis is discovering an array of systemic failures that now need addressing. They have cut corners in every area during the building of the new addition. At this time arrangements to fix the mistakes is clear. Several contractors and professions have proposed extensive workarounds that are needed to resolve improper; framing, electrical, plumbing, roofing and damage to our existing home during the process. The negation of proper procedures during this process is a clear and it seem a manipulation of circumstances to gain as much money for the smallest amount of input is tragic. Home damage to the existing structure and new addition highlights the overall Just 4 Jacks inadequate techniques, procedures and integrity of the entire building process is leaving our money, time and energy wasted with the investment in shambles. The business is no longer allowed to work on the project due to the overwhelming lack of vision and mission during their efforts. As the homeowner we would like our money invested in Just 4 Jacks returned to us. They have incomplete, improper and underdeveloped methods that should not be tolerated.   We passed all inspection clients ran out of money to finish project. As project after 6 months still sits not completely dried in and as we left it. I have emails and text of almost daily communication with ********************* were she even apologize for her husbands actions towards us! ** ****** threaded that he did not want to see us hurt which I have on recording and called and left threading message in which was reported to my attorney. The ******* have been contacted by our attorney and have not processed with communication through him. *********** went to the township public meeting and again was told we passed all inspection. The ******* breached their contract for none payment !The ******** have made false claims and publishing these false claims will be considered slander as we have passed framing, rough in electrical, and rough in plumbing inspections! I have all paperwork to proof we passed inspections and would gladly provide.

  I am rejecting this response because:
  
  We paid Just 4 Jacks a total of $157,000 to begin and complete several large projects on our home. Those large projects consisted of the following three main projects: adding a two-car garage that would have one half of the garage built as a finished bedroom with a full bathroom (so Just 4 Jacks was supposed to install a new stack for the new plumbing in that bathroom), a second floor addition to our current rancher home that would have two bedrooms and another full bathroom, and last having our front screened in porch/lanai converted to finished space. None of this included an HVAC/AC system to support these new areas, as we were informed that they do not handle that. So they told us that we could find someone else to come in and install that if we wished. When the professional arrived he informed us of several clear code violations. When we expressed the concerns nothing was done to address the major problems. 
  
  We began payment with Just 4 Jacks in January 2022 and paid them an initial deposit of $25,000 out of good faith, EVEN THOUGH they did not begin construction until August 2022. HOWEVER by the time Aug/September 2022 came and construction began, we had made several more payments totaling approximately $145,000 of our money paid to them. The claim that ******************* makes in her BBB response to our initial claim, saying that we ran out of money is untrue. The truth is that we chose to not make further payments because of the shoddy work that Just 4 Jacks did and the constant demands from ******************* stating that we needed to pay them more money. Because again, we paid them $145,000 to just BEGIN construction.
  
  Since the conception of construction by Just 4 Jacks, there were several red flags that arose. The first was when they had a company bring a dumpster to our home in August 2022, that failed to set it up properly causing water to not drain from it when it rained so then it was building up water inside and breeding mosquitoes, as well as having the run-off from the dumpster go into our part of the driveway that our youngest child, whom was 2 years old at the time, played in. When bringing our concerns up to them, they stated they would contact the dumpster company and then informed us that WE WOULD have to pay the dumpster company again to come out and move it on our driveway, EVEN THOUGH none of these issues were our fault and is both Just 4 Jacks’ and the dumpster company’s responsibility. However, we paid them AGAIN to have this dumpster moved to a different location on our driveway for the SAFETY of our 2 year old son (who was getting eaten up by mosquitoes and playing in run off with carcinogenic chemicals). Also in September 2022, when they started tearing walls down in our basement and drilling into our cement, they did NOT properly set up the surrounding areas so that the silica dust/smoke would not flow to our upstairs. Just 4 Jacks did not have any fans supplied and running, or surrounding windows and doors opened that were close by to release the silica dust/smoke, or doorways covered and sealed to prevent debris from further traveling through the house. So immediately, ****, who was at home with our 2 year old, while this began happening, ran around the house having to get out fans of our own, turn them on, open the doors and windows in our basement, as well as upstairs to air out the smoke, and instruct Just 4 Jacks’ crew to cover and seal our doorways better to prevent the unknown debris and silica dust from spreading through the majority of our home including both levels of our home. Furthermore, THEIR construction crew did NOT have any masks, goggles or protective gear for themselves either, which **** conveyed to them was UNSAFE for their employees. **** clearly communicated his concerns for the safety of our family AS WELL AS for the safety of their employees since evidently, the concern coming from Just 4 Jacks wasn’t there. At this point, we were upset with the way this was handled in our own home that we were currently living in at the same time while construction was taking place AS WELL AS for the safety of our family AND their subcontractors…because we are those kind of people. With **** *****’s statement in her BBB response to our initial claim, that states that *** ****** says that he did not want to see them hurt, is being manipulated. As she combines that with saying *** ****** left a ‘threadning message’ which I assume means threatening message on her voicemail, is untrue and made up. No outgoing phone calls exist on our phone records because we made sure that no accidental “butt dials” were made. One of our last ‘red flags’ that occurred in September 2022, was when Just 4 Jacks began the second floor addition to our home; there was no roof on it for 2 weeks. We were assured by Just 4 Jacks that they had a ‘special tarping system’ that would ensure that no water would leak through and damage our property. However, we experienced rain and sure enough the second floor addition that they installed, but hadn’t put a roof on yet, was leaking. We discovered this leak because it caused water to come through the ceiling of our kitchen and so our ceiling  buckled. When relaying this immediately to **** *****, she claimed right away that this was NOT Just 4 Jacks’ fault. However we argued that it was clearly their fault. So after Just 4 Jacks’ sent out their subcontractor to look at the water intrusion and damage in our house to investigate it, he quickly concluded that YES it is their fault just like we had stated initially. Since we had NEVER had an issue with water leaking in our home, had just had a NEW ROOF installed on our whole house 3 years ago, AND the leak was directly under apart of the house that had the second floor addition that Just 4 Jacks just installed but didn’t have a roof on it yet, we KNEW this leak was caused by their construction. So that’s when **** ***** said that they would cover the cost to repair the kitchen ceiling, however it would take awhile to do because they were backed up with other work for our home and clearly other clients' work. So **** ***** told us we could choose to have them halt the planned work they were doing to OUR home to fix our kitchen ceiling, but that would delay our timeline with all of the work that we planned to have them do for us OR we should call our own insurance company and make a claim (for damage that they caused). Unsettled by this resolution, we communicated that this was NOT acceptable as our ceiling was falling down which is HAZARDOUS TO OUR FAMILY (we have 3 kids and 1 dog) in which our ceiling then began to fall down even more, over the course of the following week from more rain. So we called **** ***** immediately again, in which Just 4 Jacks had their subcontractor come out AGAIN to then nail up a board on our ceiling to hold it up. So yeah, I guess you could say we did have a lot of back and forth communication with ****.
  
  In proceeding with work at this point because we continued to have faith in Just 4 Jacks after investing so much money already, we continued to have them move forward with work as well as also make another payment to them. We made another payment of $15,000 to them in October 2022, as **** was always eager to relay that another inspection passed, which meant we were supposed to pay them more money. When we decided to stop payments by November 2022, Just 4 Jacks had their attorney draft a letter to us saying that “My suggestion is that you pay the $10,000 that you currently owe them, and you both execute mutual releases from any further contractual obligations.” So in another words, we should pay them $10,000 MORE MONEY to END our contractual agreement when at this point, LESS THAN ? OF THE WORK THAT WE HAVE PAID THEM FOR WAS COMPLETED, YET WHAT WAS COMPLETED, WAS DONE POORLY AND IMPROPERLY. This is ABSURD.
  
  Since then (now March 2023), we have had a plethora of professionals in the business inspect the work that Just 4 Jacks completed so far. During the time from August 2022 to November 2022, when Just 4 Jacks  continued to do work on our home, **** was requesting blueprints and plans for plumbing and electrical from **** because he could see that things weren’t being done correctly, in which **** became defensive and would only say that it wasn’t in our agreed contract to provide any such paperwork…
  
  Back to the 3 main projects that we hired and trusted Just 4 Jacks to complete for us, only 1 of them had partially begun, but was done poorly which is why we stopped having them work on our house. This being the second floor story addition that they put on. And this construction caused our kitchen ceiling to implode, which Just 4 Jacks did not end up repairing or ever compensating us for. The two other projects that we made payments for them to complete were the: 2 car garage space (with the one side as finished space) and a full bathroom that they invoiced us costing $89,541.23 AND the other project was to convert our front porch/lanai to finished living space for $20,416.75. It is pure treachery, that AFTER already paying Just 4 Jacks $157,000 and the combined totals of the work that has NOT EVEN BEGUN is $110,000 that they would then demand us to pay them an additional $10,000 to end our contractual agreements. And so again, we are seeking a refund of our money from Just 4 Jacks to resolve these disputes.
