      I am new to Medcare and I can without a doubt say that in talking to the staff "they are rude". I have NO CHOICE in the matter because my insurance will only pay for this company for CPAP supplies. Sad isn't it that I have no choice. Moving forward, I got a machine I HATE. When I called a month ago about use of said machine they jumped down my throat about it. I tried to reach out today (3/1/2025) and was told that the person I needed to talk to would be back in an hour and she was supposed to call me. Well an hour and a half later I call back to find out they closed for the day. WOW, really????? I will try calling g back on Monday but I can guarantee that it will be difficult to reach them. I was not pleased with them from the start and it only gets worse with each call I make. Wish me luck all as this is ridiculous to have to deal with companies like this. I would hope that the attitude gets better but I wouldn't hold my breath

      Buyer Beware!! Do not engage with them! I was prescribed a CPAP machine by my doctor. MedCare called to place one with me. My ** explicitly told me my insurance would pay for it 100% and there was no risk in me trying it out, despite my hesitation to do so. When this company called me (on a recorded line) I asked them if it was 100% covered and if I could use it for a few weeks without further commitment. I confirmed there would be no early termination fees etc if it didn;t work for me. They said yes. No worries. They asked for a credit card just to hold in case there was damage to the machine. I gave them one knowing I wouldn't abuse it. Then I scheduled my hour long inservice training. Two days after I had it they called me asking why I wasn't using it all night. They advised, for the first time, that I needed to use it for a minimum of 4 hours/night for at least 21 nights/month for insurance to pay. I tried consciensiously to do so. Sometimes I was waking up and ready to take it off but after looking at the clock of how long I had been wearing it realized I had 10 minutes remaining so spent 10 minutes staring at the clock at 3 am. Imagine my surprise when after having it for less than 3 weeks they sent me an invoice for $720! I called and told them I wasn't paying that. I wanted a copy of the recorded call as evidence of their deception. They said it was "company property" and they wouldn't release the call to me. I asked for proof that I agreed to any payment (which I hadn't) and they sent me a copy of an acknowledgment I signed at my inservice saying I understood how to use the machine. It said nothing about payments, rates, required hours of usage etc. They claimed this authorized them to charge me, which it clearly does not. They are scam artists. If you really need/want a CPAP look elsewhere. This company engages in deceptive and dishonest business practices.

      One star is too many. My dislike for this medical equipment company is a 10 star. I have learned, since, to read reviews. It's sad to learn that **** advertises this company, which is how I ened up with this service, a *** *** prescribed my care through medcare. December apps will have this company as discussion. If medcare scans this site, good. Six months had lapsed not receiving a bill from medcare. I then receive a phone call, money a topic, and to my dissatisfaction, was highly unhappy with a story how there billing system was either hacked, breached, eyes rolling on my part, six months to bill me, and in a day wants their ******** recommendation was to bill me over 6 months for their ******, only bc it took six months to receive the bill for payment.I went online and paid ***** at a time, which I was doing close to every two weeks, paid ****** to date, and the rest went to a collection agency, owing only 35.oo and some odd change. I hope medcare holds their head up feeling proud of their action. Just proves their system can be breached, and it was, if story on billing is true, and as a consumer, there is protection for me over their not trying to protect a person's information. My next move is contacting the insurance commissioner. The state I live, and send this person to **********, pa to investigate their process of ignorance and rudeness and *** else knows what. Not a threat in the least, but about my interest of your billing practices. Maybe start with listing a correct account ********* I count out ***** in pennies, you can have your hard up payment, bc you like advertising my name as a nonpayer.

      Horrible company to service injured -ill patients. After my lung collapsed during a major surgery, I had to get an oxygen machine sent to my home. In a 4+ week time frame I only had enough tubing to change twice.. I was told to service the water in the airline tubing myself by taking the lines apart & blowing air through them.. With no strength in my hands & arms after this surgery.. I was unable to do that.. After week 4 new airline tubing came in the mail.. but I sent the equipment back.. I WOULD NEVER AGREE to have any type of medical equipment sent to me from MEDCARE.. Hopefully my insurance company doesnt pay them for these airline/tubing Ive never used & received them AFTER THE MACHINE WAS scheduled to be SENT BACK. BEWARE UPMC.. you need to find a different medical supplier for your patients

      Got a new cpap machine..the mask frame broke..and they said it's just a 30 warranty on the mask..but for 158 dollars I can get one...I called my insurance company we did a 3 way calling....we got hung up on two times !..please stay away from those fly by night company... bit I hear they all all the same sad they hurry to take the insurance money...but don't want to do anything with service!

      I apologize that the broken clip on your frame was deemed not covered under warranty by the manufacturer. If you do not wish to pay out of pocket for a replacement, you may request that your physician faxes MedCare a script and letter of medical necessity. We will gladly submit that documentation to your insurance requesting authorization for replacement coverage. This was discussed over the phone with your insurance representative on the line, but please feel free to contact us if you have any questions regarding that process.       I wish I had read all the negative reviews posted here before I began working with this medical supply company for help with sleep apnea . I never experienced this type of medical negligence before. I have been waiting for new CPAP supplies for quite some time. When I called the company, I was told that they were waiting for a prescription because my insurance requires a new one every two years, (1) Why didn't someone from MedCare call, text, or email to let me know this; and (2) why didn't they follow up sooner if my physician was to blame, as implied.

      Received a bill in July , I immediately called Medcare regarding this telling them I updated my insurance information and I was told everything should be covered and not to worry everything was on file and I wouldnt be billed it was a mistake. Then they billed me anyway took an auto pay without my consent! I will be calling the attorney general and reporting this unethical lying place. This is disgraceful!

      I have severe sleep apnea I quit breathing over 30 times an hours when sleeping. It has been 2 weeks now waiting for ******** to contact me for CPAP machine delivery. My physician has sent order and notes to them and still have not been contacted. I have reached out to them 3 times and been told order is in process. WOW this is how people stoke or even die. Recommend using another company ************************************************

      This is my current situation june 28 2024. Received a phone call from medcare this week while at work. They wanted a 60 plus dollar payment then or return of my supplies would take place bc it was stated they had my supplies for two weeks. This is the background of this said situation..in may 2024, I received a call from medcare wanting to know if I wanted to order my cpap supplies. I ordered what I felt I needed. I was told that an authorization would be placed and I was asked my current shipping address to ship these supplies to me. I gave the correct info. Currently month of June, no supplies have been delivered. I did not receive a phone call telling me the order was approved nor that my supplies were being held. I am only 10 minutes from there offices in ********** pa. Do they not have these supplies at this large business balding in **********? Where would my supplies come from if being shipped to my address. Does not one think if they, at ********** receive my shipment, someone would call to tell me???. What am I paying for that amounts to over 60 dollars and where are you sending my supplies back to? Peak health was called. My authorization for these supplies came to me June 17 2024. Payment was made from them related to the cpap, April, may 2024. I owe 4.91 for month of June and do you not, as medcare, mail statements???? Deliver supplies with a bill attached as previously done??? Letting others know too, that I stopped auto billing for past discrepancies and I will no longer allow auto payments. I feel your company has one of the worst representation in patient contact, communication skills need to be in a classroom with up to date communication skills, treating customer care. your customers is what makes your business. If I could have, you would not even get the 1 star highlighted.

      I am sorry yo u all seem to be having trouble with them. I have had Medcare for over 10 yrs. I have had no problems with them billing my card for supplies not ordered. Plus I get my supplies within 7 days.
