    I signed a contract to rent a one month storage unit at Ivan Drive Self Storage. We paid $110 in a refundable deposit on top of what we owed to rent the unit. The unit was rented from 11/18/22-12/18/22. We removed our belongings from the storage unit and left it broom swept per the contract. I have photos for proof. When I contacted an employee asking if they needed an updated forwarding address they said yes and I provided them with my current address via email. When I did not receive my deposit back I sent another email to the business and was assured that someone would check into the issue. However, I received no response. That is when I decided to call, when I called I was told that they had sent the deposit to the address on file. I had explained that I had received no refund and that I had been in contact with two other employees. They told me they could do nothing for me. When I explained that it had not been received and that there is no record of any check being cashed I was met with rudeness. They told me they weren’t sure what they could do. I asked the man I spoke with to speak to his supervisor and call me back regarding the issue. I have yet to hear a response nearly a week later.

    Hello,
     A check was issued to ********* ******* on the 7th of February 2023 to the address on record. (*** ****** **** ***** **** ** *****). It came back to us on March 5, 2023 as return to sender. I called and left a message for her on March 9, 2023 no answer. We emailed and I got the new address on March 10, 2023. I will have the check in the mail today.
