    I purchased a 2008 **** ******, marked "good condition" on 7/15/22 from Fred B*****, owner of Wyoming Valley Auto Sales, Inc. No disclosures were made about the car. The window sticker showed a recent inspection from June 7, 2022. I paid a total of $4868.00 for the car including a limited 30-day warranty/ 1000 miles. Within 2 days, the AC stopped working then my son noticed black electrical tape concealing the "check engine" light-behind the instrument panel. I immediately made an appointment to have the car evaluated by a third parties, **** **** and again by **** ********. Both places advised me that the car does NOT meet inspection standards; both places advised me that the car was unsafe to drive; both places advised me to file a report with the PSP; both places provided a detailed list of problems and estimated costs to fix. When I contacted Mr. B***** for a refund, he refused. He offered to "make things right" but never elaborated on what that would be. He asked to see the car to evaluate it himself and asked that we meet at the original inspection station. We refused as it seemed a waste of valuable time to allow the same station that fraudulently "passed" the car to evaluate it when we had two independent evaluations done with paperwork to show him. It also seemed counterproductive to allow Mr. B***** to make repairs as he deceptively sold us an unsafe car that illegally concealed the check engine light. Mr. B***** is a veteran used car salesman, surely he knows this is unsafe, immoral, and illegal. Our consumer rights have been violated. Our safety was jeopardized. Mr. B***** was difficult & unsympathetic. We simply wish to return the car for a full refund. The car does not uphold the "good condition" status as marked at the time of sale. The car does not meet inspection standards, despite the current sticker on the window--the car does not meet basic quality or safety standards. These actions are negligent, fraudulent, and deceptive to the consumer.

    Dear Sir/**********;

    ********************* decided to take the law into her own hands when she sent a friend into our office to threaten and intimidate us . He said ******** car would not pass inspection and if we did not refund her *** money he was going to *** us up. I immediately called ******** because I had not received any complaints from her. She said she took her car to **** **** and it would not pass inspection. I explained that like many franchise garages they tell people there are things wrong with cars when in fact they are not. Her statement that I offered to make things right but never elaborated is a blatant lie. I told her whatever legitimately would not pass state inspection I would take care of. We made arrangements to meet at the garage that inspected the vehicle the following day however she never showed up. ******* states she has two independent evaluations however she has refused to show them to me or allow me to examine the vehicle. How can I correct any inspection issues without access to the vehicle and the inspection repair estimate?
    thank you

    Fred * B******;

    Visited Wyoming Valley Auto Sales on 3/25/2022 to purchase a used vehicle. Their website states all their cars are serviced and inspected. The first vehicle I test drove, the brakes were not working properly, but may have just needed an adjustment. We drove a second vehicle which I purchased- 2006 ***** **. We looked over the car to the best of our ability and it appeared to be in good working order. The Owner, Fred, stated his vehicles are all serviced and inspected prior to sale and gave a 30 day warranty. After purchasing the vehicle we attempted to have it looked over by a mechanic, but not able to have a shop review the vehicle until after the 30 day warranty due to scheduling conflicts. We had the first shop look at the vehicle on 6/4/22. They stated there was an issue with the CV axle joint. We took the car for a second opinion and was told that the bearings in the CV axle joint leading to the transmission needed to be replaced and that the transmission fluid has been black for a long period of time. We took it to a third shop to verify and they stated the same and the cost to repair would exceed the value of the car. I then contacted Fred, Owner of Wyoming Valley Auto and he stated he wanted his shop to look at it. His shop stated it needed a new transmission. I called Fred back he stated he could get a used transmission and his shop could install it for $2,000. I thanked Fred and explained to him that if his vehicles were serviced as stated on his website then it would have been noticed that the transmission fluids were burned and there was an underlying issue. I had to trade in this vehicle for a newer car within 90 days of purchase and would like the difference of trade in minus balance of loan ($1694) plus deposit($200) totaling $1,894.00.

    ********************************* failed to mention she purchased the vehicle with a 30 day 1,000 mile warranty and she had the vehicle for nearly 3 months and put well over 6,000 miles on it. Even though I was not obligated to do so, as a good willed gesture, I arranged to have a used transmission installed for her for 1,200 dollars parts and labor, not the 2,000 dollars ********* ******* stated. ********* *******’s now documented lies and omissions are tantamount to defamation of character. I have contacted my attorney Jeff Y**** and I am in the process of suing her for defamation of character.
