    On April 17,2021 a contract was signed to have painting and repairs to our vacation home at *** ***** **** ***** Greentown,Pa by Jack W*** Painting at the cost of $ 3,500. We gave a 1/2 deposit in the form of a check for $1,750. The work was never started. My husband tried contacting Mr. W*** many times and had discussions regarding the work or the return of our deposit. He always had an excuse for not paying us back. On April 25, 2022 a certified letter was sent to Mr. W*** letting him know we were going to file a complaint. He called us back and said he would send a check every month since he spent our money. We received 1 $200 check in May. We would like our $1,550 returned to us and if not Mr. W*** be charged with theft of services. He should also receive a negative BBB recommendation. I don’t want anyone else to be ripped off by Mr. W***.
