      Amerigas? Cannot speak to anyone in *******! Would not give a price for moving a tank. Was told twice someone would call with a price. No calls ever. Canceled service once due to this and rescheduled another service for relocating the tank. Was told again someone would call with a price. Once again, no call! Technician shows up, ask him he estimates $500. Get the invoice its $1,629.00. Only willing to give $300 off after speaking to the two Philippines people for an hour. Was told I can't speak to the Headquarters in ************! Amerigas, Shame on you. I "WAS" a customer for 16 years! Unbelievable!!!

      By far the worst customer service!!!DO NOT USE THIS **********************!!!!!Our tank has been shut off for 9 months and is plumb full. Somehow they keep putting in $380 worth of propane which is absolutely impossible. Try calling and all you get is someone from *****! Impossible to get someone from ******* to talk to.

      Absolutely the worst company ever dont ever use them. Worst customer serivce Ive ever dealt with. Please dont sign up for any gas services with them.

      My neighborhood is supplied gas through Amerigas. 2x's within the last year our community tank has gone completely empty leaving our neighborhood without any gas. When this happens, once someone from Amerigas shows up, all of the has is shut off while they refill it *** check for leaks. Then they go door to door to check everyone's lines for leaks and to light the pilot light. There isn't a local number to call so you have to call the 800 number and "speak" to someone from the *********** who is following the prompts on their screen and not listening or understanding what you say. It's extremely frustrating. Yesterday, I was stuck in my house all day waiting for someone to show up. A lot of neighbors still do not have their gas on because they work all day and had no idea anything was going on till they got home in the evening.

      ************** Didn't even want to give them 1 star.How Amerigas Drains a Senior Citizen's $457.92 credit and renders $110.09 bill for payment.(Credit apparently came from my paying same bill twice). In contact with "retention department" last year, was told I had credit of $347.83. At a later date I ordered delivery of propane. ****** said couldn't put gas in tank unless it was moved 4 feet out in the yard. I said move not possible because it would interfere with lawn mowing crew operations. The order was cancelled. Later I asked for removal of tank. Rep arrived on wet winter day and said he could move the tank with hand truck when ground was dryer. Early May I e-mailed request for tank pickup and return of credit balance they held for over a year. Two days later tank was picked up. Day later statement arrived: Pickup charge: $199.99. Dispatch fee: $99.99. Early termination fee: $149.99. Total: $457.92. Second bill: ******** Close No. *************** Due: $110.09.

      0 Stars.... Had their tank removed and was charged $200 . Was not told I would be charged. Decided to pay the full amount without disputing it. They charged additional $6 to process credit card payment but was told I could use my debit card... NO WAY would I give them access to my account!!!! Horrible business

      I have been calling them since February 2023 about buying a 250 gallon tank, I currently have a 250 and need another for my whole house generator. They told me I needed a site assessment first, so they came out, person said he had to talk to power company. I had them cone out already and showed them the report, he said they were wrong and needed to talk with power company. The question was how close to the meter could they put the tank. I again told them the power company already approved the location and sent request to county for permit requirements. He said they would put permit request with town and tank should be set in about 6 weeks. I was charged $249 for the site inspection, which they billed me immediately.Fast forward to June 2024! You guessed it, no tank, no permit request ever sent to town, nothing!I had been calling them every two weeks for the first 4 months, always the same response, we will have a supervisor call to set up an appointment. No one ever called, I call again, after waiting 6 months, the lady that answered the phone said she sees I keep calling, she told me to stop because it won't expedite anything. I was disgusted, this week my husband asked me what was going on with the tank, he decided to get involved, he called! He was told they could see we paid for the assessment 16 months ago, she said she would escalate his call and someone would get back to him. He was very pleased with himself when he hung up, and told me they will be calling him. I said, yeah, you will not get a call, and he did not!So he called again.he was then told they don't have anyone to install tanks, he said for 1 1/2 years! She said yes, he asked for a refund of our money for the assessment, she said they don't do that because someone did come out. He asked for a supervisor she said they dont allow you to talk to someone but she would put a ticket in for a return call. Never got one Stay away from them folks, read al! these reviews and consider yourself warned

      Horrible company to work with. We are due a refund. I have been contacting them for the past 6 months via different methods and speaking with different representatives. I have either been told that the check was mailed or that the previous representative misled (lied to) me and that the refund check had not been processed or mailed. I have asked for copies of the "cashed checks" but am told they don't have copies. I'm sure that they intentionally give people the runaround so that they give up on any refunds due to them.

      I had a truly ZERO STAR experience with Amerigas.Context: I stupidly forgot to check my gas levels and ran out of fuel in the middle of making food for the family. This was on a Wednesday afternoon. After being put through the ringer to get a HUMAN BEING on the phone, Amerigas and their call centers charged me +$600 for an emergency delivery that I was told would come within 24 hours, which meant I should have had gas the next day. They were VERY quick to charge my credit card, in fact, they wouldn't let me even schedule the delivery until I'd had my card charged. 24 hours comes and goes, no gas, no calls, nothing. I called back. After being on hold for 20 minutes, they told me they will have someone here "as soon as possible" and wouldn't commit to a day. Fast forward almost a week, still no gas, still no calls back, nothing. After multiple attempts of calling back, emailing, talking to their chat services on the customer portal, nothing. They finally ended up calling me back 6 days later. By then it was too late, I'd had another company come out and get me out of a bind.People's fuel needs to heat their homes and cook food is a somewhat serious matter and their dismissive attitude coupled with a call center staff that's completely not trained is inexcusable to me. This company delivered what is far and away the WORST customer experience I've ever encountered. Even if they offered me free gas for life, I wouldn't work with them out of the mere principal of what a sorry excuse of a company they are.I wish I could rate them zero starts. Never EVER work with Amerigas, if things feel normal at first, I can guarantee you'll be screwed when you need them the most.

      My name is ************* was a customer of ********************** for four years trying to buy or purchase the tank I was unsuccessful and when I got a new company that dug up the tank I informed Amerigas to pick up their tank and they charged me $214 to pick up their tank that was already out of the ground, I advise anyone doing business with Amerigas that you will eventually regret it. They are a terrible company and should be put out of business.
