  NOT THE COMPANY IT ONCE WAS BUYER BEWARE. My family has worked with this company for ~40 years and I had high hopes of working with a local, family-run business. I agreed to the $2000 quote to replace my storm door and then after having a technician come out for measurements, the salesmen called to say it was actually going to cost an additional $1300 for materials (more than 50% higher than the quote!). I declined this work and was told they could still proceed. The salesmen called back again to say it would actually only cost an additional $800 because my porch was actually smaller than I remembered, to which I again declined. The installation went well with no mention of the additional materials or work that the salesmen had requested. I then received the invoice that, to my surprise, included the additional $800 cost. I spoke with the salesmen to inquire about the charge to which he said that the storm door replacement couldnt have been completed without the additional work and that he did me a favor by reducing the amount from $1300 to $800.. despite the fact that he initially told me he just misremembered the specs of my front porch. The fact that this work was only mentioned by the salesman via phone and not either of the technicians in- person, led me to believe that it was an unnecessary upsell.I then received a call from George Grove III who patronizingly questioned how much I knew about business and that I dont know how construction works. He told me that due to a catchall loophole phrase on the quote, I was required to pay for the additional work despite me declining it twice and even threatened legal action if I didnt.Overall, this was a very disappointing customer experience and communication was poor all-around. They mentioned several times that they arent like Renewal by ********, but I felt completely taken advantage of as a young female homeowner. They may not be like Renewal, but Im not sure this is any better.

  We had work done recently by George Grove and Sons and we were very satisfied with the workmanship done by Jason and Tom. Great guys and very conscience minded workers. We have had several jobs done by GG&Sons with no issues. Thank you and keep up the great work.
