I purchased a 2013 Hyundai ****** from Fred Beans and within the first month I noticed a creaking noise when turning the wheel and going over a bump. I finally scheduled an appointment to get it check and today the check engine light comes on. I purchased this car on 6/23/23 and already I am having issues. I called the sales manager about it and he brushed me off sayings its a 10 year old car and its sold as is. I was never told by the sales employee the vehicle is sold as is. This is the second car I have bought from Fred Beans and they dont care about you after you buy the car.Business Response

I paid money for my car and my car was not ready I got up there and my car still had issues I had to leave again then I got the car finally and they didn’t fix everything and my car I not completed still I had to go somewhere else and pay money for someone else yo fix it they also had my car way longer then promised and still it’s not done again I had to take my car somewhere else but I paid Fred bean and my car is not complete this had held me up with slot of things when you pay someone you expect for the job to be done but nope they got my money and I feel completely disrespected and suckered out of money thsts not cool at all and I tried to talk yo them they was too dismissive and was very carelessBusiness Response

I spoke to ************** directly and offered to take a look at the vehicle at no charge and report back if it was a quality of work issue or another issue with the vehicle outside of the scope of the work performed. Please have ************** provide a receipt for the work performed so we can see if it was workmanship or an additional concern.Customer Answer

I am rejecting this response because: I have tried to talk to them my entire keylock came out Fred beans said they did not replace but they did replace it because the new key from the ignition that was put in works for my door as well if they did not change the key ?? why is the new key working for my door and the old key does not work at all meaning they had replaced it and didn't fix it back properly I reached out and he was short patient I go not wish to continue service there and I want a refund they also had me pick up my car when I got there my window was still broken and they had me come a long way just to say they still need my car and I had to come a day later and find a ride back to them just for another piece under the car that was not screwed properly which he asked me to come when I called back they told me they refused to do and that the service manager was on vacation then my key lock completely came out and not properly put back in Also my car don’t even start up the same since they replace the steering column it seems hesitant then once I did talk to the manager he said he did not do that but he did and he wasn’t nice about I’m done I don't want to go back there and I don’t want my car thereRegards,

I’m reaching out because as per our last conversation regarding my 2020 Hyundai ******; it was the third time my vehicle engine light came on and it would not accelerate over 30 40 mph. I received the vehicle back last Wednesday. However, today while I was driving and trying to accelerate, the engine light started blinking in the engine started shaking, jumping and the vehicle jerking and shut off. Also, when the vehicle is parked or idling the engine is jumping and jerking. This will be the fourth time. Something is wrong with the engine, and now it has worsen. I got it towed back to Hyundai today. The vehicle is unsafe to drive. I do not feel comfortable putting myself my child or my grandkids in that vehicle anymore. They seem to not know what the issue is and it’s becoming very dangerous. I no longer feel comfortable with this vehicle. I need a new vehicle or my money back.Initial Complaint

On April 20th my car caught on fire while drive with me and my family inside. The next day I went to Fred Beans Hyundai and spoke with a service team member explained what happened. As I was asking what their protocol was for this matter I was rudely interrupted by the service manager. When I explained what happened he waved his hand at me and told me that I needed to contact my insurance company. Completely dismissing this serious issue. I asked about who will be coving the cost of all the items I lost in my car as well and any additional money I will have to put out due to this fire. He said your insurance will. (Which is not the truth). I then asked for ALL the documents of all the recalls done there. He said sure, he asked me to step into his office. Once in his office he continued berate me with a multitude of question about the car and asking why I didn’t know it was on fire. He stated the recall was done to stop the issue with the engine catching fire. I stated that obviously it didn’t work. That statement mad him mad and tired to insinuate that I had other work done to my car that may have called this issue. Which I did not. As paperwork was printing out he was throwing things away when I asked him what was on the paperwork what was thrown away he stated it was nothing important. I told him and I wanted any paperwork that was printing out. He then picked the paperwork up out the trash and tossed across the desk towards me. I am extremely appalled at the treatment I received at Fred Beans. I felt completely dismissed and extremely hurt from the lack of compassion this manager showed me towards a serious situation that could have took my families life. I am angry that Hyundai is content with allowing their customers to still continue to drive in vehicles they know can catch on fire at any given moment.Business Response

I purchased a new car on June 9th, 2022 and it was replaced June 30th, 2022 due to a blown engine. They sent the title to the wrong bank, ******* *** Credit Union (incorrect bank) instead of ******* *** Federal Credit Union (correct bank), and they are refusing to correct the issue and get the title sent over to the correct bank. The bank has also reached out to Fred Beans Hyundai of Langhorne to get this corrected since the beginning of the loan, and they have not gotten any response. I am now trying to sell the truck, but cannot do anything until the title issue is corrected. Because they are not correcting it, I am now losing trade in value on my car and now have to make more payments on a car that I want to sell, and will have to pay more negative equity due to this, which I should be compensated for as well.Business Response

Purchased a used vehicle from Fred Beans Langhorne in May or June of 2022. I was told there was a clean ****** and there was a multi point inspection. I was also sold a protective coating on the vehicle that helps protects the paint, trim and headlights from minor incidents and wear. After washing the vehicle a few times I notices some exterior trim irregularities and odd paint texture on the rear passenger of the car. I took the vehicle to a auto body shop and asked if it appeared the vehicle was in an accident. Their professional opinion was the vehicle appeared to be repair. Being a little suspicious of the exterior coating they sold me at a $1800 dollar price tag I asked about that too. I provided the amount I was charged, the time it took them to do it and allowed them to inspect the vehicle and they laughed at me. They indicated there is nothing that could be put on in a 45 minute to an hour time frame that would cost that much money.Business Response

They have ignored multiple requests to stop sending me notices about purchasing a warranty.I receive them every 4-6 weeks. I've been told I would be removed from the contact list but seems that hasn't happened.Business Response
