Terrible Tickets Purchasing Experience. They listed the Black Friday sale ends on 11/17 on the website. I purchased it on the exact day. Then I found out the sale was still going on and changed to end soon, and the price was even lower. I called them for a price match. They said they cant do it because of the dynamic of the price, which will change daily! This is definitely CHEATING! They dont have a place to file a complaint, even though they disconnected me to avoid a low score survey after I told them I would do a survey. I have never had a terrible experience like this in any themed park before!

I was racially discriminated and still havent heard back from sesame place about the situation 10months later. My daughter had walked out of a store with a hat in her hand and I didnt notice because I had a sleeping baby and bags full of 100s of dollars worth of items that I was carrying. I noticed after we left that she had it, but the security approached me and said that I stole it. They threatened to press charges against me if I didnt pay for it. They refused to show proof of me stealing it, and they treated me like a criminal. They refused to talk about it, and I was banned from the park.

We chose to book through Sesame Place Vacation Packages as we thought it would be more reliable and less hassle compared to using a 3rd party site. This was a big mistake as we found out while on the trip. We needed 2 rooms at the hotel and vacation passes for 5 people (myself, wife, my 2 sons and my mother in law). Sesame Place Vacation Package website was offering a summer special, buy 2 nights, get the 3rd night free. I selected that option and found a listing for the Best Western Philadelphia Bensalem Hotel with Vacation Passes for 2 rooms for a total of $485.53. I called Sesame Place Vacation Packages customer service and talked to a representative. He told me this is legit and asked me if he could go ahead and book it for me. I told him to please go ahead and he sent confirmation of my hotel, Vacation Passes and coupons - all confirmed with email confirmation. During our drive from Toronto to Pennsylvania, Best Western calls us and tells us that we need to pay an additional $111 + Tax per room per night. I told him it is not my problem as Sesame Place booked this for us and I already confirmed and paid. The manager proceeded to tell me to contact Sesame Place to work it out. I contacted Sesame Place and they told me that there was a system glitch on their website but that they are not responsible for anything. Furthermore, they informed me that it is not their problem and that I either pay Best Western the extra money or cancel the entire vacation. When we tried to talk to a manager, they kept hanging up. We did end up getting a full refund, but in the process, we had a big hole in our trip to cover as well as a very disappointed wife with a childhood dream and 2 boys (ages 9 and 5). It is very disheartening that a big company such as Sea World/Busch Gardens does not accept responsibility and take accountability for issues that occur on their site. Furthermore, the way by which managers talk to their customers is very rude and harsh.

I just purchased a gold season pass on April 28,2023 at full price $262.00+fees. Today I was on the Sesame Place website to check the hours for this weekend only to see they are having a sale and now the gold season pass is now 50% off ($130.00.) I called to see what could be done, maybe a partial credit, another season pass, something. NO I was told sorry but our terms say no refund/non cancelation. I don't want to cancel my pass I just want some consolation. Even stores will offer a credit if you pay full price and the item went on sale. I spoke to a supervisor and he was not empathic at all and hung up on me even after I mentioned I would give a bad review. I am very disappointed as this is supposed to be a family amusement park and it is not cheap to take a family there.

Contacted online chat and spoke to a representative name Osheen. The representative was rude and not very helpful. I asked the representative to help me with an issue they reflected on my issue and sent me something else I did not ask for. I then expressed I was not interested and they then abruptly ended the chat without asking me if there was anything else I needed assistance with.

I purchased a bundle which includes admission tickets and hotel. Our check in was 3pm so we went to the park first. My 5 year old was exhausted by 3pm so we left to our hotel. We arrive at the hotel to discover the pool was closed by the health department. I go to my room to find weird wires coming out of the AC unit and water damage over the shower. I requested another room and the minute we walked in the pungent smell of mildew was overwhelming. I did not feel comfortable staying at the best western so I immediately left. I scrambled to find a hotel and was lucky to acquire the last available room at the Hampton suites. However, my customer service with sesame place was horrible. I was on the phone for over and hour and getting push back on my reimbursement for the hotel. I wanted to be reimbursed for my hotel and receive the current ticket cost which was cheaper than what I paid originally. The hotel I stayed at was more expensive so I figured it was a reasonable request. Unfortunately, because I used the first day ticket they claim they couldn’t reimburse me. The company gave me three meal vouchers which they claim included an appetizer, meal, bottle water, and dessert. I get to the park and discover that is not the case. You have to use the voucher all at once at the some places and they don’t offer appetizers or desserts. My experience was horrible and I spent more money.

I think it was wrong of one of their employees to ignore 2 little girls trying to get recognized by their favorite sesame characters, based on the color of their skin. If you have no idea what I am talking about go to tiktok and search sesame place is racist.
