      12/14/2022 Amount spent $1726.74 Purchased a ********* reclining (via electric) loveseat. ********* is now ******* Furniture Ind. in a years time the right side of the loveseat has stopped working twice. Long wait for someone to come look at it, long wait for parts, after it was fixed it broke again. Another long wait for someone to come look at it. When they finally got here, it miraculously was working. Now the other side(left side) has stopped working. There is something wrong with this piece of furniture. I've tried calling *********/******* Furniture—you can’t get through to anyone. I sent a message asking for them to call me, and I get a response from some complaint forum…which that forum isn’t going to fix or replace this loveseat. I keep calling Smith Furniture where we purchased it, they just keep going round and round … boss/owner isn’t there, people on truck aren’t there, I’m not allowed to talk to their ********* sales rep, they have to. It’s just a run around and I’m tired of it. I want the entire loveseat replaced with an equal value piece or my money refunded all together.

      We have been working with **************** to rectify this for her.  The company has always been *********/*******, it did not change hands.  We cannot give our sales rep's personal cell phone number out, which is the only thing we were not able to do.  We have already allowed the customer to come into the store to reselect a replacement loveseat of her choice, which is now on order.  Not sure what else we're supposed to do.  As far as we knew this was settled.

      Smith Furniture of Lock Haven has agreed to replace the defective loveseat. A new one (different manufacturer) has been ordered. It won’t be available for 10-12 weeks. Once it comes in, they will deliver it and pick up the defective piece. 

      So as of now, they are addressing the issue. Hopefully the new one will come in and operate as it should.
