      Horrible business ethics, no consideration for the customers, Items being taken without locks being broken HUMMMM. No retributions for items stolen, no cameras for inside units. No reports of any thefts HUMMMM? If you care about your belongings do not rent from here. There is a good chance you will not have them for long. Paying insurance is a joke was told only pays out if there is damage to the unit. This is so unexpectable it is almost a shame and is very condescending for the customers.

      This property is infested by Rats!! The management is aware of this problem and does not care! My property was ruined and their insurance they offer is a scam!!! I made a complaint to corporate and the dont care about the problem either, I will never (and also regret) giving this company my money.

      Cube Smart on ******************* in ********* Is infested with rodents rats and roaches, you pay insurance for them to say we dont cover that my belongings were urinated and full of rat f**** after paying insurance for 5 years they didnt cover anything please find out what is covered in any storage unit before they put rent

      I recently opened a unit at the *************** location and the one complaint I would pass on is the unreliability of staff availability during posted hours. On my first visit just to get information I stopped by during the posted business hours and no one was present. On my visit to sign my contract I stopped by at 1230 only see a sign (clock) on door saying be back at 1pm. I decided to go walk my dog in the mean time and returned to a sign saying be back at 2pm. When I returned at 2:12pm, the sign had been changed to 2:15. Though the staff returned shortly afterwards, I find this repeated absenteeism to be unacceptable. Its hard to take care of business under these circumstances.

      Storage unit is nice and what you would expect. However they make it impossible to cancel a unit. I have called mulitple times, left tens of voicemails, even spoken to an employee a few times on the phone that I want to cancel my unit and they say ok they will. Yet month after month I continue to get texts to say that my bill is overdue and that they have put their own lock on my unit that has been empty for months. So now they are just locking a unit they could be making money on. Not my problem, my card is no longer on file. Poor customer service, got scammed to paying for one extra month before I was able to remove my card from my account.

      The WORST storage facility so far in *** **********************************************. After I traveled over 50 miles to get to my storage unit, I inadvertently forgotten my storage key and had to leave my new household items in front of my storage unit. I called and advised their employees of the situation and that I will return within a few days to put away my items in my storage unit. I was told by their employees that it was ok, 'No problem'. When I returned-ALL of my stuff (on the cart) that were left at my storage unit disappeared. Spoke with their ***************** and was told 'We cannot help you'., CubeSmart failed to secure their entry doors -leading into the storage units and CANNOT produce any video footage of who or what had happened to my belongings. Instead, the Claim Adjuster sent me an email: Advising that I accused their employee (s) of theft. What a blasted shame! Why am I paying for insurance protection if my belongings are not really insured?

      I am writing to formally report the conduct of ***** S, District Manager for CubeSmart in *******, *****. I have personally witnessed several instances of behavior that warrant immediate review and intervention by *************** due to their severity and impact on employees and customers.Specifically, I have observed the following: Disrespectful treatment of employees: ***** frequently speaks to staff in a demeaning and condescending manner, raising his voice, using belittling language, and treating team members as if they are beneath him. His tone fosters a hostile and intimidating work environment that ***** morale and well-being. Inappropriate conduct toward customers: I have seen ***** be openly rude to customers, using dismissive body language and making remarks that appear racially biased. He has treated customers of color noticeably differently from white customers, raising serious concerns of discrimination and reputational harm to CubeSmart. Sexually inappropriate comment: A white female employee reported that ***** made a comment about her b****** She feared reporting it due to possible retaliation. This could constitute sexual harassment. Pattern of unprofessional behavior: These are not isolated incidents but part of an ongoing pattern. Employees have expressed fear of retaliation and verbal abuse, and his conduct has created a toxic workplace atmosphere.Given the seriousness of these actions, I respectfully request that HR conduct a formal investigation into Brians behavior. All employees and customers should be treated with dignity and respect, in alignment with CubeSmarts policies on diversity, inclusion, and professional conduct. I am willing to provide further details or specific examples to support this complaint if needed.Thank you for your prompt attention to this matter.

      This company is awful ..Been with them for over 3 years they were not accommodating at all .Long story short this company auctioned my belongings off for 130 .00 dollars .I beg and pleaded with Management to hive me more time just a few days .Mind you I owed 800 dollars going thru hard times they sold my storages for 130 dollars .My son who passed away pictures and clothing very sedimental items and other things .Just think if a person trying and pleading they should have better measures in place especially when people are trying ro resolve issues such as mine . Im

      CubeSmart is not a trustworthy company. My friends and I have faced the same issue: they lure you in with an affordable starting price, then raise the rent multiple times without your approval. In my case, the rate increased three times in just one year. This is nothing but a customer scam. Potential renters should be warned the initial price is misleading. If you want honesty and transparency, look elsewhere!

      I leased an 8 10 interior unit at the facility in ******, **********. I should have realized it was a predatory operation: the sale was handled online and apparently by offsite people. The unit was far from parking and most of the units closer to the door were unoccupied. Basically, their racket is renting customers a unit that they believe will be tough to vacate (lots of people who need storage are in the military or working as traveling nurses or are students, etc). Then they raise the rate after your first or second month by a lot (11% increase after 40 days in my case) and continue to do so until you're fed up. I'm sure they end up confiscating the possessions of people who lease storage because their apartment rents have gone up or they're escaping domestic abuse and they're living in smaller quarters or on a couch with their kids. It's big money behind these storage outfits--private equity firms that see profit in gouging the vulnerable, the poor, the young. I'm lucky enough to be able to move my stuff out But what about the people who aren't?
