great working with this company. My point of contact was the most professional guy could ask for. He made the process easy and efficient. I had so many bad experiences with contractors in the past but this was not the case here. they did a fantastic job on time in budget and cleaned up around the place after the job. they did a great job. I highly recommend them!

Gotcha Covered was the contractor my insurance company recommended after we sustained extensive hail damage. This was by far the worst experience we have had with any contractor. We were promised that an English speaking supervisor would be on site several times a day to answer any questions and concerns we would have and to ensure that their crew was performing the work correctly. This never happened and as a result much of the work had to be redone. We called and texted many times and were told their supervisor would be on site the next day, again this never happened until the work was finishing up. Then their supervisor agreed that a lot of the work had to be redone. They told me they were sending out their best guy to make the repairs, why was he not here to begin with? He did make some of the repairs although some of the repairs were masked by caulk instead of replacing the items. What is so upsetting is we have no idea if the other work performed by the first crew is done correctly, being the crew worked unsupervised and in some cases performed work beyond their skill level. We also had to go all around our property to pick up several hundred nails, screws and pieces of metal they failed to clean up.Very, very disappointed with the entire experience with this contractor.

This company is dishonest and attempted to charge for services they admittedly did not perform. When I refused to pay for services they did not perform they threatened placing a lien on the home. I feel they attempted to create insurance fraud. They were very unprofessional.

****************** is very unsettling to hear your multiple accusations of insurance fraud and dishonesty. As discussed we made changes during the project to properly repair your issue to bring your property back to pre loss condition. Your satisfaction is our number one goal and you gave us that when we were done. This was an insurance job and we are the preferred contractor with your insurance company. Everything we did from the work, to the emails, to the final invoice was all approved by your insurance company. Doing insurance work there is a minimum charge. We are not a handyman service. We require proper wages. The differences to the work performed would not have changed the final price. I discussed this with the insurance company and they agreed. I asked to meet you in person to discuss this and your never replied to my email. We still discounted your bill because we absolutely strive to do everything we can to make the property owner happy. I would be happy to still meet you in person to discuss this. Thank You

Contacted Gotcha Covered to get a quote on repairing several slightly lifting shingles on my roof that my homeowners provider wanted to see repaired. A project manager was sent out to my house and told me my roof was so badly damaged that the only sensible thing to do would be to replace it. I told him that just wasnt financially feasible at this time and I was really only looking to get these few lifting shingles repaired. He told me they could send out a technician who would charge by the hour to repair the damaged shingles if thats what I really wanted. I said yes, and later that day received a call from the company to discuss rates and set up an appointment for the tech to come out the following Friday. Come the appointed date/time, another project manager arrived and gave me the same line about needing to replace the roof and that the repairs I was requesting wasnt something theyd be willing/interested to do. I told him I was promised a technician would come out to do the repair work as discussed, and he said he wasnt a technician and that he could have them send one out but that theyd end up charging me $80 just to tell me they wouldnt do anything anyway. When I asked what other options he recommended, he promised to send me a list of local contractors/handymen who might be willing to take on a smaller job such as mine. That information was never sent. I asked around and got the number of a local semi-retired roofer who takes on small jobs like mine, and I told him what Gotcha Covered had said and asked him to come out and take a look at my roof so I could get a second opinion. He came out the next day and told me he had no idea what they were talking about and that my roof wasnt damaged and the shingles still had plenty of life in them. I don't appreciate being lied to.

**************, we truly are sorry you had a bad experience. Our number one goal is to provide exceptional customer service through any project. On 6/16/2022 you called to office and spoke with our receptionist and set up an appointment. The appointment was scheduled for a technician to come to your home on 7/1/2022. Since your home is not far from our office, ***********************************, a project manager went to the appointment to make sure that our technician could handle the job and get a better idea of your issues. After the inspection, because the age and condition of your roof, he determined that we would not want to perform a repair and that a replacement is needed. You told ****** that you didn't want to go that route so we ended our relationship. We did not tell you your shingles were damaged and we do shingle repairs all the time however for your home we felt it was in best interest to replace. We did not collect any money from you. We did not lie to you, it was our opinion. We are happy that you found someone to come out and hopefully you are satisfied with their work.
