    717 HOME BUYERS REFUSE TO PAY THERE SUB CONTRACTORS . BUT NOT ONLY DO THEY REFUSE TO PAY BUT THEY TALKED ME INTO WORKING MULTIPLE PROJECTS WITHOUT A CONTRACT. I TOOK THEM FOR FACE VALUE AND A HAND SHAKE SINCE THEY RELAYED TO ME THEY WERE GOOD CHRISTIAN FOLK / BELIEVERS. THE SAD PART IS THEY ALMOST GOT THE WORK FOR ALMOST FREE AND STILL REFUSE TO PAY. THIS IS AN ONGOING PROBLEM WITH INVESTORS AND CONTRACTORS. ILL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN.

    Edward, the work that was performed on the two properties you are claiming we did not pay you for was unsatisfactory. and frankly unprofessional. We have photos of the work done. Please examine them and tell me if you believe this is of quality, or if it is complete at all. We can also provide the invoices from other contractors that had to go back to those properties to fix and complete the work you failed to do. We have paid you deposits for the work, but per our policy with all of our subcontractors whatever cost is suffered on our part to hire a 2nd contractor to complete the work will be deducted from your final payment. In over 5 years of business we have never had an issue paying contractors on time or for work. It should also be known that you are holding a $5000 deposit from Redemption Restorations, which is owned by our project manager Joel Hughes, for work that has been cancelled. That deposit has not been returned. We have agreed with Joel H***** to take the $5000 we would have paid you and give to him since you will not return his $5000. We have offered a solution to call everything even since you are already holding the same amount we owe you. You have denied this offer and have been hostile in your communication. We have screenshots of text messages you sent to Joel H***** that were aggressive and threatening while Joel simply asked you questions and sought to clarify any misunderstanding. We have made every effort to communicate and reason with you in a rational way, but you have not engaged in conversation with us rationally. The final invoices we received from you were also dated 11/24/23 and 11/27/23. No other contractor has ever demanded payment like this before. You also sent the final invoices $250 less than they were supposed to, so we'll help you out and correctly count them as $3500 and not $3250.     I am impressed with 717 Home Buyers. In a business where integrity, honesty, and follow through can be lacking, these guys have consistently delivered and dealt with their customers in a straight forward manner. Our company handles most of the legal and title work for them so we get to talk, meet, and handle the closings for the folks they buy homes from. Their customers are happy and they have been honorable with us and super prompt in payment and organization.

    I signed an agreement with them for a certain amount. They want investors to buy the properties. They low balled me by $30,000. After many many attempts to contact them through phone calls and emails, I decided not to sell. They are a rip off.

    Andrea, We are very disappointed that you went to this length to leave a review while still under contract. Our team is working very hard to sell your property at the agreed upon price. Our process was explained to you at the very beginning. We have gone above and beyond to answer your phone calls, answering many outside of business hours during a holiday weekend. We even emailed you saying that if you wanted to go in a different direction you could do so at anytime. We have yet to hear a response. The owner even personally gave you his contact info to contact. It seems you at some point had a change of mind and would like to sell through other options. As communicated many times you are more than free to do so. We wish you the best in the future and hopefully you can sell your house.
