They refuse to take me off their contact list. I have not used their services in over 2 years because of financial difficulties. I explained the very sensitive subject to them. They have been contacting me nonstop ever since. I called last year (and the year before) to get off their calling list and the lady apologized and said it's an automated system and said I was removed. I just called again on 2/24. I got the same talk and she assured me I was removed from the list as I was called 12 times just in the month of February. This was a lie as I have been contacted again twice in the last week. They also said they were unable to remove me from their mailing list and I had to contact a Opt Out form through a third party to remove any unwanted mail (in general not related to their company) and that they could not help. What a horrible company to continue to harass people who ask multiple times to stop. What a reminder that I went through hard times and cannot afford. Its not like i owe them money. When will it end?NaturaLawn of America

Thank you for reaching out to inform us of the situation. We have checked all of our internal records and have made sure to remove your phone number, email, and mailing address from everything. You should not be receiving any more communication from NaturaLawn of America moving forward. We apologize for any inconvenience this may have caused and hope you would still consider us in the future should your needs change.Review fromElliott R

1 starI live in **, paid for lawncare services including 7 treatments and aeration/seeding. Had aeration and seeding service on 8/22/24. Arrived at my house completion of aeration and noticed holes punched in side of my driveway, and damage on vinyl fence area at gate. Addressed both with technician on site only to be told "I don't know what any of that is, it wasn't me." Had branch manager **** visit my home and same reply, also "that was there before". If I had cameras on my property, they'd both be liars. Also scheduling time with the branch manager to review the damage at my home was ridiculous, he would only come during "his" business day hours and could care less that I had a job and work to get to. It was completely about his time, and not working with a customer whom paid his company for services, that caused property damage to me. Poor business practice. The driveway holes will "somehow be fixed" by ***. The fence damage, nothing will be done whatsoever because apparently some other large awkward machine with large black tires was on my property and caused the damage. Both the driveway holes and fence damage WERE NOT there prior to the aeration service, that is the truth.*** personnel involved took absolutely no ownership of the fact that my personal property was damaged as a result of the careless use of their aerator machine. It's that ignorance and mentality that makes me post this to dissuade anyone from using them. Aside from the fact that my lawn has increasingly looked horrible, with weeds, crabgrass and brown outs, over the course of their services, that I paid a premium in full yearly up front for. In fact, I was better off before I signed up with them, in so many ways. The promises, guarantees and marketing have not been delivered in my case, plus I have property damage.Review fromJoe N

1 starWAS TOLD BY SALES THAT THEY INCLUDE FREE SEEDING WHEN WE HIRED THEM. WE ASKED ONE OF THE EMPLOYEES ABOUT SEEDING WHEN THEIR LAWN TREATMENTS STARTED, AND WAS NOW TOLD THE FREE SEEDING WAS ONLY WITH AERATION (LAWN PLUGGING) AND IT WOULD COST $200 FOR OUR 1/4 ACRE. NOW AFTER ONE SUMMER OUR LAWN HAS NEVER LOOKED WORSE (WEEDS, BARE SPOTS, JUST TERRIBLE). SO YESTERDAY A NATURALAWN SALESMAN CALLS AND AFTER I TELL HIM HOW BAD THINGS LOOK, HE IGNORES ME AND GOES ON TO TELL US THEY NEED TO COME OUT AND DO THE AERATION AND SEEDING RIGHT NOW (HE IGNORES ME WHEN I TELL HIM IT'S TOO EARLY (HOT AND DRY). HE NOW QUOTES A PRICE OF $612 TO DO THE AERATION AND SEEDING ON OUR 1/4 ACRE. WE BEGIN ARGUING AND I DROPPED NATURALAWN, BAD ENOUGH THEY RUINED OUR LAWN, THEY NOW ANGERED US WITH THAT SALES CALL, JUST CRAP!!!!Review fromRobert M.

I prepaid and then used their service last year. My lawn looks worse than ever before. I am not using their service this year. Last week, they came and serviced my lawn when I was not home and without my pre-authorization. They then charged me for this. When I complained, they reported that their service continues year-to-year until I formally cancel. This is a very clear scam. They report that they will not forgive this charge and that they will pursue payment. If I could give less than one star, I would. They charged me for a service I did not want, and my lawn looks worse than when I started. Since I am not the first to report this type of rip-off from this company (read other reviews), perhaps the BBB should wake up and do something about it?NaturaLawn of America

Mr. M***** signed up for our service in 2022 and during that initial phone call he was explained about our automatic renewal policy. It was also sent to him in writing in his welcome booklet, just as we send to every new customer. We also send out multiple letters over the winter with a discount offer for the following year which lets customers know the services have been scheduled for the 2023 season. All in all there were 4 instances where he was explained about the automatic renewal (the initial phone call to sign up for service, the welcome booklet, and 2 letters we mailed over the winter of 2022/2023). We did his 1st treatment of the 2023 season and he called after the treatment was done to cancel his account. He never voiced any frustrations with the results or look of his lawn. If he had, we would have been more than happy to work with him to address his concerns. Service agreements are extremely common in our industry regarding auto-renew policies, and are often over looked. We try to take it to the next level with the volume of emails, snail mail, and phone calls making all customers aware of the start to the new season. We apologize if Rob was caught off guard, but we can not force him to read or listen to the information we provided him. We would be happy to provide copies of these communication pieces that he received before service started for 2023. Thanks.Robert M.

Since this company is so intent on quoting their welcome booklet, I would like to quote directly from it, in the paragraph above the one that speaks to continuous service: "If you are not COMPLETELY SATISFIED (Caps mine) with our service, we will re-apply the most recent treatment completed at no additional cost and continue the regular program or we will FULLY REFUND (Caps mine), if paid, your cost for the prior visit and cancel any obligation for any future service on your part..." "Completely Satisfied" is at the discretion of the consumer, and not of the company. I am not "completely satisfied" with my most recent service, and am requesting a refund for this. The company clearly feels that they can qualify what "Completely Satisfied" entails, despite what their service agreement clearly states in print. Please tell me how this company can fall back on their service agreement for one part of their argument, but not for the other. What does it say about a company that does not stand behind their printed, written service agreement?Robert M.

Since NaturalLawn of America – Montgomery is so intent on falling back on their written service agreement, I would like to refer to this very written document. This paragraph is verbatim, taken from the NaturalLawn of America Consumer Information in the written service agreement: “NaturalLawn of America is proud to offer this guarantee: If you are not COMPLETELY SATISFIED (Caps mine) with our service, we will re-apply the most recent treatment completed at no additional cost and continue the regular program or WE WILL FULLY REFUND (Caps mine), if paid, your cost for the prior visit and cancel any obligation for any future service on your part…” It is clear that I am not completely satisfied with the service provided by NaturalLawn of America, and I have informed the company of this and of my desire to be refunded the cost for the prior visit. NaturalLan of America apparently does not agree with why I am not “completely satisfied,” and so is denying my claim for a refund. However, “completely satisfied” is a term to be defined by the consumer, and should not be contingent on the company’s approval of the reason for the dissatisfaction. If the company is going to argue in favor of their written document, they should also stand behind the very words of their written document, which includes this black and white guarantee. What does it say about a company that does not honor its written guarantee?Review fromEC C

This is our second year with NLA-Chester - beyond disappointing. Our lawn is a mess with weeds and their machines have left huge bare patches and divots where they tore through what was growing. Long history of mis-communications, mis-information and "missing" notes from our service records. The list of excuses is extraordinary and the latests is that they didn't treat the stilt grass because it was our responsibility to ask them to do this - even though we asked on multiple occasions. I realize our lawn is challenging which is why we kept trying to work with NLA-Chester. We didn't expect miracles and any improvement for all the money we've spent would have been acceptable. So far - all we've gotten is lame excuses and an even crappier lawn. Total waste of money, time and thoroughly sick of the defensive, weak explanations. NLA-Chester is a waste IMO - don't throw your money away.NaturaLawn of America
