    Scam Rewards Program Targeting Dementia Patients So my mother has mild dementia, but can still use a phone. She ordered some pants from this catalog last fall, and somehow, from that interaction, she ended up getting signed up for some rewards program that gives her 10% back on purchases. Only this rewards program charges her ***** per month for the privilege. She would have to spend $220 per month on this catalog JUST TO BREAK EVEN ON THIS HORRIBLE "DEAL.". I just went thru the signup steps for this rewards program, and no way did my mom, who cannot use a computer, sign up for this. My assumption is that they target elderly people and just sign them up when they call in. Or maybe they asked her something vague like "would you like to be in our rewards program"--I will never know, since she has no memory of signing up. I check her statements, but this went on for 6 months before I really noticed. I had assumed each month that she was ordering some small item from the catalog and so it took a while for me to catch on, which I did once I noticed that the charge each month was identical. What a horribly abusive scam to sign dementia patients up for a worthless and expensive reward program that requires a $220 expenditure each month just to break even on their scammy 'rewards' program.

    They charge for shipping both ways. Even when sizes came too large customer pays for return. Stay away. Very outdated ordering/return system.
