This was my second time using this business and will not ever again! The owner is absolutely rude and ill mannered. I did not get an email that she says I got. Well, I didn’t get it! I was u happy and asked about my order and she canceled my order with pure ignorance and was no the least bit professional. The first time I got shirts they were cheap, crooked and poorly made. The second time it takes 3 weeks to get 1 shirt? It’s sad that people get big headed and act like they are wonderful. I have been in business over 10 years and never took more than 3 days to send a package and I sure don’t get ignorant with people.Initial Complaint

On 2/1/24 I placed an order with Harpers Haven for a sweatshirt in the amount of ***** order #*****. A few weeks had went by and I had not received the shirt so I inquired via email on 2/21/24 the owner *****************************, made an excuse that she had Covid and that was the delay in my package. I was understanding at the time, she told me That my package would go out on 2/26/24. On 2/29/24 I still had not received a package. However, I had received a notification that a printing label was created when I inquired about this I got no response from the owner. On 3/3/24 I decided to go on the Harpers Haven website and request a refund. This mustve made ******* angry, because even though she has a three business day rule for responding to customers, she then responded to me and told me that It may have been my fault for entering my address wrong and that I would need to contact ***** She also told me that she would not give me a refund because my order was 100% custom. Yet she has no posting on her website stating no refunds, matter of fact she makes social media videos stating how she gives refunds because she stands behind her products and business I explained to her that as a longtime supporter and first time customer that I was very disappointed in my experience shopping with her and that I would like to have a refund for that reason she informed me that she would not give me a refund unless **** deemed the package lost after 15 days Of shipping date I have spoke with **** and they assure me that they have not received a package. Its been exactly 5 weeks since I placed my order and theres no good excuse why its not here yet Jacindas customer service skills are extremely poor She has no self accountability shes rude and only run this business to scam customers out of money. I will be filing a dispute with my bank thankfully all of my receipts with ******* the owner of ****** Haven have been through email and I will be turning all of them my bankInitial Complaint

I ordered a package 1 month ago (1/9/2024). I paid $32 for my package and even left a $5 tip because I thought these shirts were so cool and wanted to show my appreciation. Turnaround time was showing 3-5 days on site and 5-7 days on email. I got shipping information on day 1/17/2024. USPS has been showing that they are waiting for the package since 1/18/2024. That's it. Nothing has changed since (3weeks). I have kindly reached out through email twice (1/23 & 2/3) and the through the website (unsure on date, i cannot reaccess that) and allowed reasonable time between each message to give the business a chance to respond. After receiving no response from the business, I then reached out to both of the admin of the Facebook VIP page for the business (one of which is the creator of the business) and have received no response.Customer response

I recently filed a complaint against a business, Harper's Haven Shop. Today, 02/11/2024 the other admin from the VIP Facebook group that I had reach out to, responded back. She was polite and apologized and issued a refund. The refund was only a partial refund ($20) and did not include the shipping cost, tax or the tip. However, I chose to pick my battles and not push it further. After my experience and after doing research and reading a lot of very similar experiences, this business seems shady and I would not recommend them.Initial Complaint

I ordered a shirt to be made, August 2nd 2023. After a month of waiting, I reached out to the company about making the shirt. I never heard anything. So then I reached out again. Then I received a shipping confirmation on the 16th of September. Still nothing. So I emailed again. I was told to contact usps. They informed me they never received the package. They were notified electronically to pick up the package, but there was no package.Customer response

Purchased shirts on 1/12 with knowledge of them being sent out in 8-12 business days. After waiting that time I reached out with questions because my order should have gone out on Wednesday and only the shipping label had been made, haven't gotten any tracking info or heads up from the business. Upon reaching out I was met with nothing but snappy rude statements. And I stated that I didn't like how their company deals with customers asking questions (as I have reached out before this time and was met the same way) I then reached out to a member of the affiliated group for this website on Facebook stating my feelings on the situation. I was then sent an email stating they will turn me in for harassment. I once again stated all I was asking was questions about my order and this is how I was treated. I then was told my money is being refunded to me and the package is going to be rerouted back to them (it hadn't ever even left their building) and I was kicked from the affiliated group on Facebook.Business response

**** was an affiliate or an employee who was paid commissions for sales generated by her code. **** failed to read turn around times on orders and was contacting our employees personally which resulted in her items being refunded and her being removed from our company program. When she continued to contact this employee and email us she was informed of we would move forward with harrasment charges if this ensues. As **** stated she was an affiliate and was removed from the program this is n employee retaliation for being removed from the program. She has been refunded and there’s no further actions we can or will take. We do not want to reconcile this relationship and we have banned **** from our website permanently.Customer response

I placed an order on 10/19. Weeks later on social media they posted about how turn around time for one of the items I ordered was not starting until 11/1. They have a turn around time of 8-12 business days not including weekends. It’s now been 13 business days from the new date they provided even taking into account Veterans Day and zero shipping info has been provided. I contacted them and was told I was in the wrong, she argued with me about how many business days it had been, tried telling me Veterans Day was 11/9, & then tried saying she was going to report me for internet crimes if I refused shipment and contacted my bank to dispute the charge since it’s past turn around time and one of my items was for HALLOWEEN. She then tried to claim I “missed the email” sent on Friday with the tracking number despite their own website not even marking it as shipped and my usps informed delivery not even marking it as a label created situation. I wish I would have read reviews here and in the buyer beware groups on Facebook before spending any money with this company.Business response

Customer contacted on Sunday, stating she didn’t receive tracking for this item asking to cancel we informed her we weren’t in office today and that we would provide that information to her tomorrow. The customer became argumentative and defensive when we explained the processing time which she ignored in the item description. We ultimately refunded her before this complaint came in because the customer was continuing to argue after we had explained we were not in office. I ordered 3 shirts from this business on 8/26/2022, the confirmation email I received stated an 8-12 business day turnaround. I reached out via email twice, I received no response the first time, the second time the business owner claimed she did not receive the first email but I have provided screenshots of that email as well. I finally received an email stating my shirts have shipped on 9/21/2022. As of 10/04/2022 my tracking information still only says label created and isn’t on the way. I spoke with UPS on 10/03/2022 and was told this means the business has printed the label but not handed the package over to UPS yet. I’ve attached screenshots with timestamps and made sure they show the businesses email addressshowing my confirmation email stating an 8-12 business day turnaround, my first email, the second email as well as the business response saying they did not receive the first email, and the email with the tracking information. I’ve also attached screenshots directly from the UPS website with the tracking information that has a time stamp for today showing no updates. I have filed a dispute with my bank at this point and will be turning all this information over to them as well, I wish I would have done it earlier when I started getting an off feeling about this business. I have no problem waiting weeks for handmade goods from a small business, but the problem here is a business that does not communicate clearly and efficiently with their customers when they are unable to fulfill orders within their turnaround time and says they shipped out items when they in fact, did not.Business response

Ups does not update trackings until delivered. We have informed this customer of this and can provide hundreds of trackings which show no scans until delivery. This customer did not inform us of any further issues once we emailed back . Had they informed us we would have been able to file a claim with ups . This customer is signed up for our email marketing which we send updates through to everyone and she states in her screenshots she received those so her claim of lack of communication is baseless and slander .Customer response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below.there has been no effort to communicate about my order, it is not baseless or slander. I would like to see the hundreds of tracking numbers that do not update. This business has multiple reviews stating the same exact thing I have. The business does not respond until there is a threat to file a complaint, items do not get shipped out until twice the length of time as the turnaround time and when they do get “shipped” the customer receives a tracking number that does not update and no item is ever received. There are multiple complaints stating this exact thing directly to the BBB and on other websites. This business is taking money from customers and not shipping out items. I’ve spoken directly to UPS, when they receive an item they scan on arrival. That has not happened for this package. They have not received it from this business. This business makes wild claims against UPS and USPS regularly in responses to customers for issues that are so very clearly on their end.

Better Business Bureau:I received a call from my bank to let me know that a refund has been initiated from this business today since there is an open investigation, not last week, which is why there is not a date or time stamp on the screenshot provided from the business, it was not initiated until this afternoon AFTER I submitted my complaint to the BBB. I will be posting reviews with proof of how poorly this business handled this situation and the many lies this business owner told. I will tell anyone who listens how poorly I was treated and send them in the direction of the reviews from the many people who were treated the same as me. It’s only slander if it’s false.

i purchased 2 bundle deals from this business on Feb 6th 2022. 2 sweaters 4 shirts, $80.00. I reached out to her for the first time on Feb 20th 2022, as I had not gotten a shipping confirmation. she gave me an excuse on her accounts being hacked, okay. sure. SHIPPING NOTICE COMES* march 13th. (when i visited the site it would say waiting arrival, every time i checked it said that, it NEVER said shipped, or on its way, on USPS. So now were at march 29th I sent her another Email asking her where my things were and i want a refund, she blames it ALL on USPS. in the end she is being rude and calling me names that aren't true. Telling me I shouldn't buy things from small business then. IF she were a good business owner, I wouldn't be here right now. As a business owner she should have done something to make it right for her customer. I have reached out to Afterpay, who I paid thru. Please note the address on this persons receipt which is not nor has ever been Harper’s haven shops address please look up our business address which states 21 east halley street and has been since 2018. This can also be confirmed with my address . This is not a customer of mine and I have shown she has never been . I cannot magically erase a customer from our database we use shopify and always have this is not a shopify receipt. You can confirm this by clicking our site www.harpershavenshop.comHello as stated our website is and always has been www.harpershavenshop.com we do not have any purchases under this name .
