We bought our car from **** ******* back at the beginning of 2024 with him telling us that our car had remote start installed. We bought the car and right after signing papers he informed us that he had it wrong and the car did not have remote start. He then promised he would have it installed for us at his cost due to this mixup. He texted us over the course of 3 months (we have proof) promising and rescheduling installation. Then he left the dealership leaving us in limbo. We waited and waited to hear from him and heard nothing, texting him and messaging him on ********. I then called the general manager (his brother) and explained the situation and he said he would help us out and again, we got ghosted. And now a year later we are still driving a car that doesn't have remote start because of their lies and faulty promises. We understand that we can download an app and pay $200something a year for remote start but we were promised a car with it already installed on the keys. This was a very upsetting and frustrating experience and we gave them a year to rectify the issue with no success. Very disappointing.

******,We are extremely sorry that this has been your experience. Our General Manager of both Hyundai and Chevrolet Chippewa will be in touch and work with you to make this situation right. The individuals you mention in your review are no longer with the company, for reasons I'm sure you can assume. We do apologize that this was the situation you encountered as it does not reflect the type of customer service we strive to provide here at Bowser

Had my 2019 Hyundai Kona towed in 10/6/24 and spent 3 weeks going back and forth with Hyundai before finally getting a loaner car. At first I was told a few days to get my car looked at then it was radio silence until we complained online. Like magic I was called within 10 minutes for an update. Went to get my loaner car on 10/30/24 and they still had no update on when my car would be fixed or even a response from Hyundai about my engine being covered. The manager, I believe his name was ****, told me my engine was covered under an extended warranty but I will keep pushing until I get this in writing since everything I've been told up until now has not been true. **** told me that within 24 hours I would be contacted with an update on my car and no surprise I was not contacted at all. I reached back out next week asking for any update and was told by **** Monza that they are still waiting for a response back from Hyundai. Over a full month has passed at this point and the only thing the service department was able to do was tell me my engine was dead and provide a loaner, "A day early", which I do not believe. I'm not saying the blame is lying with Bowser Chippewa fully as they could be telling the truth with the fact that they are stuck waiting for an answer. However, it is ridiculous how little they communicate and how many false timeframes they throw around hoping they don't get called out on it. I'm not asking for my car to be magically fixed by tomorrow but I would like some transparency on when my car will be worked on and I expect an email back stating whether my engine is covered and a full list of items that need to be addressed as well as costs associated. You can find my email from the tens of complaints that I have sent into either **** or the Bowser Hyundai official email.

Bowser Hyundai of Chippewa is not fixing our 2018 Hyundai Santa Fe Sport that is burning engine oil excessively. To prove the car excessively ***** oil, they analyzed the engine with 1000 mile oil consumption tests. It was recommended to have these tests performed by the Service Manager at Bowser Hyundai Chippewa. Over the last year, at least five tests have reflected excessive oil consumption. Despite the problem with Hyundai's engines, there is a complete lack of communication from the service department. Note, my car has now been sitting at the dealer for 51 days and I don't even have a rental car that was promised. This makes it clear that Hyundai is not loyal to their warranties or customers who have provided them with service for years. Buyer beware, if I could give a rating less than one star I would.

CONSUMER BEWARE!!! In late May 2024 I went to Bowser Hyunia to get my free yearly car inspection and I was told that to pass inspection I needed to replace both rear wheel brake cylinders for a cost of $294.44. I have a warranty plan on my 2017 Hyundia Accent and I was told the items were not covered under the warranty but according to my purchase warranty plan using dealership form FNUR (01/14) these parts ARE covered on page 3 of that form. I refused to have Bowser Hyundai to perform the repair and took my car to my local mechanic in Ellwood City who removed both rear brake drums and there was no leakage on either brake cylinder so my warning to anyone using Bowser Hyundai which will never touch my car again, DO NOT just take the word of the hired help working on your car about a repair but ask to see what they claim needs repaired. My local mechanic did inspect my car for his inspection fee of $45 which is allot cheaper than paying Bowser Hydundia $294.44 for an unneeded repair to use their so called free inspection. I LOST ALL TRUST IN Bowser Hyudia so CONSUMER BEWARE using this business and yes I feel the Better Business Bureau should be known of this warning as well for us consumers.
