Consumers allege that items ordered and paid for were not delivered in a timely fashion. Consumers state that they did not receive items that they paid for in the agreed upon time frame nor were they updated to a new time and have been waiting for months for their order. Some consumers have stated they received a partial shipment but never received the rest of order nor a refund for items not received. Many consumers have tried to cancel after not receiving the order. Some consumers stated they requested a refund which they have not received. In some cases they state their order will be designated as canceled yet they never receive the refund they are promised. Consumers allege they are unable to reach the company as they get a recording that the mailbox is full and emails are not answered.
The Federal Trade Commissions mail order rule requires that items ordered are to be shipped within 30 days of the order if no other time frame is given. If a business can't ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if no promise was made) business must notify the customer of the delay, provide a revised shipment date and explain their right to cancel and get a full refund promptly.
BBB brought these allegations to the business and the business did not respond. BBB will continue monitoring the business.

Hello, I had been ordering from House of Beauty for quite some time before this unfortunate incident. The incident in question followed an order from June 23rd, 2022 (order number *******). I had ordered 10 products in total, in the amount of USD 159.60. The products were 5 black ***** cream henna and 5 dark brown ***** cream henna. Soon after my initial order, I received an email that they were out of stock on the dark brown and that they will send them as soon as they were able. That was reasonable to me. When the 5 black cream hennas arrived, there was a note with them that the 5 dark brown were to follow within 7-10 days. Needless to say, it's been much, much longer than 10 days. I followed up with them on August 26th, the only email they ever responded to, in which they responded to request the invoice and note of promised products to come. These were sent and I've never heard from them since. I followed up again on September 13th, 18th and 26th to no avail and again in January 2023. It's taken me a long time to get this together as I kept holding out hope but then realized how ridiculous that is after so long. All I'm looking for is for them to refund me for the 5 dark brown ***** cream hennas that I didn't receive. I will attach all communications. Thank you.Initial Complaint

I placed an order on August 8th 2022 .My account was charged. When I called after not receiving my order they told me it was on back order and I should receive it within a few weeks. I purchased hair product from this company back in September 2022. I’ve been contacting them starting I have not received my product. I received 2 emails stating my order was being processed. So I have been in contact with this company for over two years or so trying to get some help with damaged goods I received. I placed the order for 20 bottles of world of curls spray before coivd(2020). It then shipped out months later (due to covid which I don't blame them for); when my package was delivered; the post office had to deliver my package in a separate plastic container because the package was soaking wet. All 20 bottles spilled out into the box due to a packaging error. Now fast forward to 2022 and they wont give me my money back nor replace the product. They have dodged my texts, gave me the run around and tried to wait me out so I forget(for literally a year). They then change management and now say they cant do anything about it. To top it all off they just delete their website. THIS IS BUSINESS IS DISGUSTING!Initial Complaint

On July 4, 2022 I made two separate purchases with HouseOfBeautlyWorld.com. Order #******* for $479.70 and Order #******* for $119.92. On July 7, 2022, I received an email stating they did not have one of my items from #******* was not in stock and offered an exchange or refund. I opted for the refund. When I received my order, Order #******* also had items that were not in stock, yet I was never informed. I reached out on Aug. 3rd and 10th to inquire about refunds regarding both orders and I was told it would be processed Renalyn (HOB). On August 26, 2022, I received auto-receipts from ********************* (HOB) in the amounts of $59.96 and $202.39. Money was never deposited in my account and I did not hear anything further from the company until eventually the number was no longer in service and the website was down.Initial Complaint

Contacted House of Beauty for my item. Business sent me a document stating that the items were on back order. Business never refunded me the money for the back items nor did I receive any order. I placed an order with House of Beauty, Inc. on 6/3/2022, and paid in full. The order was delayed, and damaged when arrived. The order consisted of hair products, which had opened and spilled inside the packaging. One jar was completed open and had emptied into the box and allover the other products. The others had loosened tops, which were spilling out. I made several attempts to the contact phone number listed for House of Beauty, but there was never any answer, and I was unable to leave a voice message. The phone would hang up. I followed up with email contact to the company (HoB), immediately, to notify of the damaged items and to request a replacement or refund. Replacement preferred. I was told to send photos (8/29/22), which I did. Since then, there has been no reply, or response, to any of my emails. Last correspondence from House of beauty was Aug2022. I emailed the company through their company website throughout August, September, October, and my last follow up was in Nov2022. And, also I sent an email again today (11/28/22). On 9/9/22, I ordered "******* Mousse" from WB House of Beauty (Order HOB-*******) on the computer thru their website.On 9/12/22 my card was charged and I received a notice that they were orocessing the order and after 2 to 4 business days I would receive a tracking number..Time passed and I heard nothing. I tried email, phone numbers and got no one. Messages said sign in to access site, no luck; authorization needed, due to not being able to verify authorization to access documentation. They stated that I did not supply the correct credentials or my browser doesn't understand how to supply the credentials.I did get an invoice which had the message, to track order, press the "Track" button below. No button.Next notice confirming the above info again.The order total was $13.91, $9.95 for the mousse, Shipping $6.95, and a coupon for $2.99. Thus $13.91. I did notify them that would be contacting BBB about the situation.Due to the fact that I never received the product, I am asking for my money back. $13.91Initial Complaint

I ordered a beauty product. I received an emailfrom Support Group [email protected] via *****.com saying it was on back order August 30, I then received an email from Elina (House of Beauty) September 6th stating that my product was still on back order. I placed an order with this company in August of 2022. I was given an order number, I was charged for the product and emailed that my order would be shipped in 5-7 days. Several times I have reached out to the customer service line and no one is there to answer the phone, it sends you to leave a message, but it won't allow you to actually leave a message. I have sent emails through the website "contact us" page, I have received no response at all. No one has contacted me through email, or phone. I paid for a product I did not receive and I can't even get a refund because no one will respond or answer a phone.
