    Pattern of Complaint:

    The BBB investigated this company due to the number and type of complaints filed against it by consumers.

    Consumers allege that items ordered and paid for were not delivered in a timely fashion. Consumers state that they did not receive items that they paid for in the agreed upon time frame nor were they updated to a new time and have been waiting for months for their order. Some consumers have stated they received a partial shipment but never received the rest of order nor a refund for items not received. Many consumers have tried to cancel after not receiving the order.  Some consumers stated they requested a refund which they have not received.  In some cases they state their order will be designated as canceled yet they never receive the refund they are promised. Consumers allege they are unable to reach the company as they get a recording that the mailbox is full and emails are not answered.

    The Federal Trade Commissions mail order rule requires that items ordered are to be shipped within 30 days of the order if no other time frame is given. If a business can't ship within the promised time (or within 30 days if no promise was made) business must notify the customer of the delay, provide a revised shipment date and explain their right to cancel and get a full refund promptly. 

    BBB brought these allegations to the business and the business did not respond. BBB will continue monitoring the business.

      I placed an order on 7/24/22. I received a partial order roughly 2 weeks later with a notice stating I would receive the rest of my order in 7-10 days. I have emailed the company on 8/30/22, 9/2/22, 9/12/22, 9/28/22, 10/13/22 and have received no response. I have called the number on the invoice to no avail. I researched other numbers to the company, one was disconnected and the other had a voicemail box that was full. I did leave a message at a number associated with the business. I have asked for a refund since I never received the products I ordered. My order number is #******* Refund owed to me is 23.80 not including shipping. Any help with this will be much appreciated.       I place an order on 09/09/22 for 3 items with the House of Beauty World. I received 2 of the items, however, a slip was enclosed stating the missing item they were currently waiting for shipment from another warehouse. As soon as they received the shipment they would complete my order & will ship out the item within 7/10 days. Well, its been over a month, I've sent numerous emails inquiring about the status & they said they would have support staff review the matter. That was about 2 & half weeks ago. Sent them 2 more follow up emails and no response. Called the phone number on my invoice & get automatically cut off after trying to leave a voicemail for customer service. I'm very frustrated and annoyed not getting any satisfaction and not able to speak to a live person to get my issue resolved. At this point, I want a refund for the $39.95 for the missing item in my order #:******* and item#************. Just want to be made whole & I will never order from the House of Beauty World ever!!!! Can someone please help me with this matter. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

      On 9/4/22, I bought 6 items on their website totaling $73.22 (order #*******). I only received 4 items in the mail. I have called and emailed the business many times asking about my missing items for a month. I have not received any responses. I still haven't received the 2 times totaling $42.90. I'm seeking a refund for $42.90 since this business falsely sold me items that they don't have.

      Never received order of Shampoo cost was 55$. Called on several occasions. At first they said order was not filled yet then after about 2 months I called again and they said order was delivered. My order # is ******. Now I call and I can't get through at all. I emailed them on several occasions and got no response. I'll accept my money refunded or they can send me the order. They never sent me a tracking # or the name of the delivery carrier either. Please assist.

      Order #******* was placed on August 30, 2022, in the amount of $45.64. The order was canceled by the vendor. I have to date not received either a credit or refund of monies taken from my account. I have attempted to contact the company but to no avail.

      8/2/22 I went of House of Beauty website to purchase 10 bottle of 40z Argan oil at $4.95 a piece through one of the options other than giving my direct credit card information since I've never dealt with this company before. My order # ***-*******-*******, never left the *** delivery center due the packaging being so heavily damaged it had to be discarded according to my *** tracking # ****************** information I received on 8/24/22. That same day I reached out to the company never go a response from a few voice message I left. So I contacted my ***** ******* to file a dispute for charges. I was issued a refund however, today 9/23/22 ***** ******* has now stated that the company provided proof they shipped it and will not honor the refund even though the shipping company can confirm the package was Not delivered. I provided the credit card company the *** tracking number so they could also verify with the company it was Never delivered to me which is why I want my money returned. I don't even believe what I ordered was actually even in the boxes. I asked House of Beauty since *** confirmed the damage could I get the items reshipped, I have not heard a response for this. Also when I tried to go to the website it seems to be blocked.

      After contacting ***** ******* and having them investigate and contact the company House of Beauty finally issued me a refund on Aug 31st. Initially they refused but I got it. Thank you so much for all your help. I appreciate your time.

      I visited the House of Beauty website and made a $43.87 purchase as shown here on this receipt. The company billed my credit card on Aug 19th, 2022 and never shipped my items. I contacted their customer service and they hang up on me ************. I have read many many posts on their reviews from their website warning consumers not to make purchases through this company. Unfortunately it was only after the fact that I read these messages. Please investigate this company.

      DATE OF TRANS: AUG 18TH. I RECEIVED AN EMAIL ON AUG 19TH THAT IT WAS PACKED AND SHIPPED. AS OF SEPT 7TH, THE PRODUCT STILL HAS NOT BEEN SHIPPED OUT. I HAVE CONTACTED THEM REPEATEDLY THRU EMAIL AND THEIR CUSTOMER PORTAL AND NO ONE WILL ANSWER ME OR TELL ME WHY. I HAVE TRIED TO CALL AND WHEN IT GETS TO ME (AS NUMBER ONE IN LINE), THE LINE DROPS DEAD. I HAVE ASKED THEM FOR A REFUND SINCE THEY ARE NOT SHIPPING IT OUT AND THEY WILL NOT GET BACK TO ME. I ORDERED 20 PACKS OF AUBURN HENNA FOR A TOTAL OF 111.30

      I made an order for $110.30 on August the 15th, 2022. On August the 18th I received a confirmation email with my order number and tracking link. However, on August 20th I received an email stating that my order has been canceled and I will be getting a partial refund within 7 - 14 days. There was no explanation as to why my order was canceled. I sent a message via their website saying I did not request my order to be canceled, therefore was the order canceled by the company and if so why. I also asked about why Im only getting a partial refund when my order hasnt even been shipped. The tracking link still shows that the order hasnt ship yet. I received a message from a customer service representative saying they would check with the main office. Five days later I still hadnt received a response. I messaged again via the website asking about my order. I got an automatic response saying someone will contact me in twenty-four hours. I am still waiting for a response.

      I ordered just a 32 oz bottle of hair gel on August 6th order number *******. It never arrived I have emailed and called them with only one response by email saying they are checking with the main office. I have not heard back since the 23rd. Also thier voicemail on customer service is full so apparently I'm not the only unhappy customer. Their address online is * ****** ** Holland PA ***** US. Maybe they have changed locations so I choose the other location in PA.
