Good morning. I am attaching some screen shots of the emails and invoice that I have received. I have not subscribed to any of these services but yet they continue to hound me for money and continue to call me and tell me what's going to happen if I do not pay these invoices.

YPages Media called today and said we had signed up for services last year as a business listing and asked if we wanted to renew. That was a lie - we never signed up for services with them. I told her that on the phone and she asked if I'd like to cancel their service then and I said "yes - if there ever was any service, but there was not" and then she said OK and hung up. I just wanted to file a report about the dishonest business practice going on here. Do not ever contact our company again with this type of fraud. BTW - the number to reference was: ************.

March 8,2023, I received a "statement" from YP City Media. This statement is in the sum of $499.99. I have never requested service from them and I have never signed a contract for service from them. My daughter serves as my legal POA and she has never had contact with this "business." She has never signed a contract with this "business." I refuse to pay for services that have never been requested. This is not the first time that I have had to deal with a group like this sending statement for payment. I am a senior, 84 years old. I am retired from the US **** and from ***.I request that this "business" stop. Enough is enough. My next step will be to contact the state attorney general's office.

YP City Media contacted our office manager to verify company information the month of October. On November 9, 2022, ****** called requesting a late payment of $599.99. We were confused as to why we were being charged. They emailed a copy of a "signed contract" and what looked like a spreadsheet with day and time that it was signed. The manager said, we don't pay for advertising, ****** then said that he has a signed contract by the manager and we needed to pay. He was asked to cancel the contract. Now he won't stop making harassing calls. I have asked him to stop calling and to just send us to collection but he verbally refused to stop the calls! Our office would never sign a contract without having it authorized by the Doctor. We have our own website with loads of information. They are charging for advertising with very minimal incorrect information. The page does not look professional and even our logo was copied from our own website. Information like this can be found on ******* why would anyone pay ridiculous money for it? When people pay for such a thing they are being followed up with to add/change information. This is a scam!

YP City Media contacted a manager within our company to verify company information. They recorded the call, then sent an invoice for $499.99. When we called to find out why we were being charged? They played the recording back and let us know that a manager within our company approved the ad. We asked why we would approve an ad we've never seen or been provided a proof of? Barbara Y**********, A/P, Collections Manager, let us know that is not their process. We asked to please speak to a manager to resolve the unapproved charges, she shared she was the manager and asked why we are having random managers approve charges? At this point, she was beyond rude, her customer service remarks was uncalled for. She offered a discount for a cancelation fee, which also leads us to believe this is a scam!!! BEWARE!!!

    Business Response

    Hi

We have been in touch with the customer regarding this issue and it has been resolved. Despite the fact they disagree with who the service was sold to, as they mentioned sales calls are recorded with the customers consent and ************** the Manager at****** **** ******** *** did agree to the services which is clear on the recording. Nonetheless, we do have a 30 day cancellation policy and ****** **** ******** *** was in their right to Cancel as they did. We are surprised at their comment regarding "Ms. Y*******" an experienced account manager with our company. We have apologized as we do not tolerate rudeness towards any of our customers. The matter has been resolved.

    Thank You

    Robert  B*****
