Cred AI has restricted my account due to a failed deposit from my bank that was out of my control. I provided all of the verification information needed via email, as they threatened to close my account if not received. This company holds a significant weight on my credit score and is using it as leverage over me, which is extremely unethical. They need to approve my verification immediately, unrestrict my account, and stop using customers credit scores as a tactic.Business response

On May 24, 2023 the company referred to as Credi.ai, which is issued under license from **** *** *** to ******************************** *** has blocked my card. When I phoned Cred.ai about the block, they informed me that I would receive an email with instructions and a link to upload my documents. In that email it asked for a picture of my driver license, my social security card and a selfie with me holding my driver license. I uploaded all of those items per their request and it said it was successfully uploaded. I've called everyday since May 24, 2023 only to be told over and over again that the card is still blocked and each representative submits a request for escalation of this matter. All to which there has been NO resolution. I’ve sent four (4) emails to [email protected] per the representatives request, all to go unanswered. As it stands now, this company has all of my personal information and avoids returning my calls and emails and still will not unblock my card.Business response

This company locked me out of my account about a week ago on 5/4/23 I called and verified all my information and they refused to unlock my account claiming it can only be done by the management team and they can only be reached by email so i responded to their email with the information and get a response that seems automated they respond once a day if that and here it is 5/9/23 and I still dont have access to my account and I have bills to payBusiness response

This company has the worst customer service. Their customer service is outsourced not in the US. So English is not their first language. The English barrier is a problem. First off I have a refund from Puma in the amount of $54.32 this refund was issued over 7 days ago. Cred AI. Has failed to post my refund. This date of purchase was on 4/10/2023 for $62.32 puma didn’t refund my shipping fee which is why the refund is for $54.32. I’ve contacted **** explained I haven’t received my refund they informed me it was issued and to contact my bank. I’ve provided Cred. AI with documentation to support I’m owed this money they haven’t done absolutely anything!!! Next issue I have a dispute for ****** caviar and Credit AI again has not done anything…Business response

I have had cred.ai for some time. In 4/25/2023 I received an email stating my account had been closed and my funds were transferred to one of my accounts I linked to my cred.ai account. An account that was not in use by just me. They sent my funds to the incorrect account after canceling my account for no valid reason. I used this account for my everyday use my safe online spending and reoccurring payments. My direct deposit had been transferred to cred.ai and this cancelation with no reason has caused me not to get paid, all of my auto payments to bounce and cause penalties, and has affected my credit score negatively. They left no information regarding the cancelation, I have attempted to reach out to their 24/7 help line with no answers aside from "we are escalating this to the correct department with urgency." I have reached out via email twice, all with no answers other than they ****** me over and they have no reason why.Business response

I had a change in my cell phone carrier. The companies policy and making telephone changes involves providing documentation of your old phone number ownership as well as your new phone number. My cellular phone carrier does not provide printed bills, especially those that would be months old that identify my ownership of the former phone number. In an attempt to change my phone number Ive had to call numerous times and I am told that a back and office will contact me via email. In the contact at receive days later from the back and office Im told that I need to provide proof of the above listed bills or else I am unable to have access to my account. Even after being provided a photo of me with my passport as well as a full color, copy scan of my unexpired proper *************, passport. The company continues to one disallow me access to my funds, disallows me access to my account, disallows me to change my phone number.Initial Complaint

On February 22,2023 $2573.00 was deducted from my bank account from ***** Fargo. ***** Fargo nor Cred.ai want to do anything about this. Employees from Cred.ai keep hanging up the phone or keeps saying the system down. The system cant be down if the person who transferred me can see my account. So once again horrible business. On or about 11/12/2022 I submitted three disputes in the amounts of $200.01, $192.74, and $177 and change. After giving Cred.ai the allotted time frame of ******************** their terms and conditions regarding disputes I decided to call their Customer Support number as advised. They call this their "24 hr emergency support line" which is nothing of the sort , this hotline is simply 3rd party agents hired by Cred.ai taking your concerns and fwrding it to a dedicated team, which as a customer you have no real access to. These agents also state that they have no access to real account info as Cred.ai has limited their access to any account info which is a lie, as Ive called numerous of times and gotten info regarding my disputes, for example on Dec 4Th I called in to ask about provisional credit expected and well over due. Agent stated that I would receive it the following day Dec 5Th after 1 pm which another rep confirmed on another occasion I called in after the credit never reached my available to spend. Following the 10days Ive been calling almost everyday for updates requesting call backs emails , something to keep me in the loop. No call backs emails pertaining to my request have been addressed. With out exaggeration Ive requested more than 20 follow **** Fast Fwrd to Dec 19th I receive a denial email of 2 out 3 claims , which I believe Cred.ai had no real interest in properply assisting in the recovery of my funds. After receiving their denial email I immediately respond requesting to file an appeal as I did not and still do not agree with the outcome and the handling of my claim, additionally I request , to this day, 6 times for their supporting documents pertaining to their investigation as per their request they asked me to provide additional info to assist in the appeal. I find this difficult as I cannot review or compare any info they might already have, more importantly the intake of my dispute. I feel Cred.ai has not been compliant wit Reg E or Z.
