On 03/11/2020 I was taken to ****** ****** Med Ctr by ambulance after being drugged at a bar in Las Vegas. At the time my health insurance was *******. ******* received and paid 2 claims for this date of service. However Shadow Emergency Physicians never billed me until last month,,3 yrs later. I contacted ******* and they advised me they would not entertain this bill since it is more than 1 year old. In the meantime ******** Physcians Group is billing & texting me regarding payment of $2002. If this was illed in a timely manner my insurnace would have covered it. But of course now they will not pay it. I don't have this coverage any longer also. I contacted the billing party and asked for financial assistance which they told me they do not have. So they are re-billing ******* and will notify me after 30 days. I don't know how this biling practice is legal. It's been 3 years. When I ****** them this issue is a common occurrence. I am a student I cannot pay $2002 bill which I would have only been responsible for the copay if they had billed me when my insurance was in effect. ******* did pay 2 other claims for this dat of service so it is not that they didn't have my insurance information becaus the other Dr's and Emergency room and ambulance were paid.
