    I experienced an employment termination without cause at United Parcel Service (UPS) June 15, 2023. I mailed a request for a consult July 25. I mailed a second request for a consult September 5. As of October 9, my requests have been completely ignored. I would rate a Zero if I could.

    I called Sidkoff, Pincus & Green to learn why they hadn't called me even days after I left a message on their webpage. I was told that if they don't respond within 48 business hours they either cannot help or have too heavy a workload. I learned they don't advise the potential client of that on their website nor call them, even as a courtesy. I was very disappointed in this business practice. I had waited 10 days for them to contact me.

    Ms. B************** sent an email asking if it was too late to file a certain lawsuit in a relatively small consumer type case. The email asked for a legal opinion which we are prevented by ethics rules from to providing to people who are not our clients. The email did not describe a matter that fit into our practice area, and it was not given a high priority. Our website discloses that we have 7 lawyers and are not a large firm. Nonetheless, we receive hundreds of inquiries from companies and people who have issues where they believe we can help them. We have a staff of people who answer the phone calls and send reports of each call to our lawyers who review new matters, and those same lawyers review all of the emails, We do not promise or imply that every unsolicited inquiry will get in response a legal opinion or a response. Where we are asked directly to take a case that we cannot or do not want to take, we do responed and decline. Where we asked for an opinion in a matter where we cannot help, we answer if we have the time. However, if the lawyers are busy with trials, depositions or other pressing matters, or if we are deluged on a particular day with inquiries from new people, we can not respond to every inquiry. That happened here. We apologize if Ms. B************* was unaware of our limitations and practices, and we are sorry she was waiting for a response we did not intend to give her. I will talk to my partners about putting a statement on the website to notify people that some inquiries will not be answered.
