    Entered by BBB staff LO Consumer purchased shoes on 1/27/23 but when they were delivered they sent the wrong size. The consumer returned the shoes in February and they confirmed they received them and she would be issued a refund. The consumer contacted ****** to let them know but they said they had not received the refund yet. ****** contacted the business and they told them there is no refund because they had not received the shoes. Consumer sent them the receipt she received from *** with the shipping info but she has still not received a refund. She contacted the business again and they told her this has been going on since February.

    Dear BBB,

    The item involved in this transaction was sold under Final Sale terms.  For Boyds, this means that a return is not accommodated unless the merchandise is not consistent with the website description of what was sold.  Upon learning of the consumer concern about incorrect sizing, we were provided a tracking number for the shipment returning the item to Boyds.  Based on that tracking number, the merchandise was never returned to Boyds. 

    Based on the accounts of the delivery and the information provided to us, we would not offer any accommodation, being return or refund,and would advise the consumer to dispute the charges with the delivery company and financial institution.
