    I contacted Bill Frusco Plumbing for a free estimate to check my water heater. The techs who came out were quoting me costs before they even looked at anything, and I had to actually ask them to check and see what was wrong before I even agreed to have anything done. When I told them I didn't have the money right then and there, they put the owner, Bill Frusco, on the phone. He was incredibly rude to me and charged me a $65 fee for what was supposed to be a free estimate.

    We called Bill Frusco Plumbing when our toilet overflowed. A tech came and ran camera. He found a wad of paper towels was the issue. He removed them and the line was clear. We were charged $800 for this service. After one use, the line was backed up again. A different tech came out. He ran camera and told us we have a reverse fitting. The fitting is going up the stack instead of down the stack. The line is now clear and the toilets are good to use but this is an issue that needs correcting. We were charged another $800 for this service. The next day he calls with a $5,000 estimate. This includes ripping up our tiled floor to get to the fitting. I want to be confident this is the source of the issue. I called Bill Frusco Plumbing several more times that day for confirmation. I had separate conversations with this tech, Bill Frusco, and Bill Frusco Jr. They convince me the reverse fitting is an issue that needs correcting. I agree to the estimate and we are charged a $1,000 deposit. Two new techs come out and rip up the floor. I ask to see the reverse fitting. They are confused. There is no reverse fitting. The fitting is going down the stack as intended. They aren’t even here to replace a fitting. They are here to replace the ideal bend. Only nothing is wrong with the ideal bend. Another tech comes out for damage control. He runs camera. This is now the third time in a week they've done this procedure. He says the problem is the connection from the sidewalk to the house. It is not an issue right now as the line is clear, but it is an issue that needs correcting. He gives me a $7,500 estimate for this work. Since nothing was wrong under the floor they ripped up, the team leaves it as is and retiles. Bill calls the next day and I ask for the $1,000 back. He says, “I will make you a deal. If your wife removes that bad review she gave us on google last night, I will refund you the $1,000.” I did not agree and got the $1,000.
