I have been receiving calls from nationwide processing stating that I need to return their call. I havent answered them. They state my name and birthday before saying that they will be coming to my home on Friday to have me sign an affidavit. They do not tell me who it is for, just that there is an order for location pending filing with my county. He also stated to avoid any further penalties against my name and social security that I should contact them or have legal representation contact them. I reached out to a friend that works for ** in my town and he said that if I was being served it would come through them. Something needs to be done about this because they will eventually reach someone who will fall for this scam.Initial Complaint

These guys have called me every day asking for a name that's not even mine. i did speak with them a few months back and they refused to provide documentation of any proof, they could not verify if this said documentation was even sent to me at my correct address and they are refusing to abide by the statutory collection laws of my state, therefore i have refused to verify anything with them as they refuse to verify anything with me. they were spoofing me from different phone numbers now they have one phone number they are spoofing me from as well as several others. They have called my husband, my elderly mother, my minor children, my adult children and anyone they think is related to me. this is harassment and i am not afraid to take it a step further.Initial Complaint

They’re supposed to be out of business but they called my ex husband, my mother, my daughter and I today! It’s not okay for the BBB to report that they’re ‘out of business’ as though their scams have been stopped! It looks bad on the BBB to NOT update factual data and reporting. The scams, overload of unnecessary calls and especially to the elderly that actually answer their phone calls are a complete disgrace. What are businesses paying for to join the BBB? What are consumers seeing when they know something is off…well, they’re seeing the BBB has been the biggest scammers of money for years and show zero credibility for the ‘product’ sold.Initial Complaint

I was contacted by Nationwide Processing on November 18, 2023. When I did not pick up the call, they contacted my son in another city, telling him that they had legal papers for me. I returned their call and the woman kept asking me to verify my address, which I did. She repeated my address back to me at least 3 times, which I thought was strange. That was at 530 PM. Later that night, at approximately 9:00 PM, my bankcard was used in Boston, Massachusetts (I live in Michigan). The charge was for over $550, at EzCater at Red Lobster. I believe this call was related to that charge. I've not heard from them since then an there are no legal documents to be delivered. I repeatedly receive voicemails from "Nationwide Processing Services" about a purported legal action pending against me, and finally, I decided to pick up. I spoke to a man who told me a complaint about an outstanding debt had been filed against me and defaulted, and that I had to pay $500 on the spot to get it resolved. Knowing it was a scam, I asked for documentation to be sent to my email (see attached photos); he placed me on hold while he "prepared the documents." A few minutes later, another man picked up, claiming to be "Nathan W*******" from "Weinburg Greenspan," a law firm (a quick Google search didn't turn up any results). I asked him why his law firm didn't show up in any searches, and he told me he only deals with banks and creditors, and not the general public. He then began yelling at me, saying he didn't wish to argue with me, and that if I didn't pay up right then and there, I could "deal with it in court" and be faced with additional court fees. I pushed back, saying I simply wanted to verify whom I was speaking to, and asked if he was an attorney; he claimed he wasn't, and that he just "works for the law firm." The attached documents show that these people call claiming to be "Miderie Mediation Services" or "East Coast Mediation Group," neither of which is an actual entity that can be verified through a quick Google search. Moreover, their email address is "[email protected]"; what entity uses a Gmail account to send documents to clients? I'm lucky that I'm not gullible or easily swayed by someone who becomes violent in his efforts to extort money from someone who doesn't know better. DO NOT pick up their calls, and report this scam to every agency you can.Initial Complaint

This company needs to stop! I receive calls at least every week. First of all they are calling me for an ****** Hale. Not my name and I don't know anyone by that name. Here is the one I received today. "This is ****** ********* with nationwide processing services calling in reference to a scheduled deliver for Friday between the hours of 1:00 & 3:00. If I cannot reach you at your home address I will proceed to your place of employment if you don't make the delivery it will result in a direct refusal to comply. If you have any questions please call or have your attorney call the filing party ###-###-####." This is a scam and something needs to be done before someone makes the mistake of contacting them and sending this scammer money.Initial Complaint

I have been getting multiple phone calls a week since Oct. 2022 and my daughter has received a few as well from Nationwide Processing. Here is the message. This is ****** ********* with nationwide processing services calling in reference to a scheduled deliver for Friday between the hours of 1:00 & 3:00. If I cannot reach you at your home address I will proceed to your place of employment if you don't make the delivery it will result in a direct refusal to comply. If you have any questions please call or have your attorney call the filing party ###-###-####. In the call they are referring to me with an old last name so I know this is a scam. I want this to go away. I know it is a scam but it has become harassing and upsetting.Initial Complaint

Received a phone call with automated message "this is nationwide processing services" and proceeds to threaten to come to my house and/ or place of business to "file suit". When I pushed 1 to speak to a representative they will try not to identify themselves, but finally state they are "" * * * *********". Every year or so I receive a cluster of these threats, all claiming different companies, but always with the same automated "this is nationwide processing services". Scam.Initial Complaint

I have received the same phone call with the same repeating message “The is Bob with Nationwide Processing Servers” (and he clears his throat continuously on the recording to make it appear MORE official and intimidating) he then continues to describe EVERYDAY how I will be “served” official documents and if I’m not available my HR representative will need to be present to accept the documents if you are not available during these hours (as if that is MORE intimidating-side note I AM in HR for 28 years!!!)….or if my HR representative is not available I will need to seek out legal representation. In order to further discuss this case please have your representing attorney call ###-###-#### or press 1 Attached are the repeated/various call logs of different days with the same intimidating message. The local phone number that continues to call me is ###-###-####
