After experiencing an issue with my car not starting, I initially took it to Bocheks Auto Repair. They replaced the spark plugs and battery, charging me $508, and informed me they lacked the diagnostic equipment needed to fully address the issue. They recommended I take the car to the *** dealership for further investigation, which I ****** the dealership, I was charged for diagnostic services, but they neither identified nor resolved the issue with my car. Instead, they claimed that the vehicle required new spark plugs and an oil change. This assertion is completely inaccurate, as the spark plugs are brand new, installed by Bocheks, and the oil still has sufficient life remaining. When I informed the dealership that the spark plugs had just been replaced, they falsely stated that the plugs were carboned up and required replacement. The dealership has charged me for diagnostic services without providing a valid diagnosis or solution, and they are attempting to bill me for unnecessary and redundant repairs. This has resulted in significant frustration and unwarranted financial burden.Business Response

Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. We strive to provide transparent, professional service to all of our customers, and we take concerns like this very seriously. Id like to address the situation in detail to clarify what occurred.
The client had their vehicle towed to our facility and authorized a diagnostic to determine the issue. Our team conducted a thorough assessment and discovered that the spark plugs, recently installed by a third-party shop, were not firing. This was identified as the first issue that would need to be resolved before further diagnostics or repairs could proceed. We communicated these findings to the client.
The client expressed frustration and indicated that they would have the third-party shop that installed the spark plugs replace them at no charge. We fully supported their decision and offered to allow the other shop to take over at their discretion. However, as is standard policy, the client was informed that the one-hour diagnostic fee would need to be settled before the vehicle could be towed out.
At this point, the client became verbally confrontational with our Service Advisor, ***** The client asserted that we could not charge the diagnostic fee since the issue had not been repaired and threatened to involve law enforcement, alleging that we were holding the vehicle "hostage." Despite this, we maintained professionalism throughout the interaction and reiterated that the diagnostic fee was for the labor and expertise involved in identifying the issue.
I have personally attempted to contact the client twice to discuss the matter and seek resolution, but my calls have not been returned. We hope this clarifies the situation. We value all our customers and remain committed to resolving this matter amicably. Should the client wish to discuss this further, we are open to communication at any time.

I leased a new vehicle from this dealership on June 17, 2023. The dealership has not registered my new vehicle with the Pennsylvania DMV. I am unable to access my DMV vehicle registration record online because I am still registered to the vehicle that I traded in to the dealership on June 17, 2023. My registration with the DMV is locked because the vehicle I traded in has been transferred out of state. I have filed multiple complaints with BMW financial and I have called the dealership to get this rectified 20+ times. My temporary registration given to me from the dealership on June 17, 2023 stated my registration would expire in 90 days. However, I was pulled over by a police officer this evening who stated my registration expired August 2023. I have been given false information by this dealership and they are not following the proper legal procedures to register vehicles in Pennsylvania.Initial Complaint

Originally went to P&W Bmw for a to get CPU’s, a headlight and turn signal fixed on my vehicle. On Monday 7/17/23 I went to go pick up my vehicle from the dealership only to find my turn signal still didn’t work. I caught them in a lie about it and they only offered me 4 hours of service. The service manager and I worked out a deal that she would install an alternator that I had bought and was going to get installed somewhere else. A week later today 7/25/23 I went to pick up my vehicle again to find out my rear air suspension isn’t working anymore. I went to the manager and she said she wasn’t responsible for the damages. Now I’m stuck with the problem to my carInitial Complaint

My wife and I found a car we were considering buying on P&W’s site. We made an appointment to see and purchase the vehicle. Upon arrival, they were running behind (which is completely understandable) and were told the car was still being cleaned. We were brought in to an office because they wanted to process the paperwork while the car was in the garage still being cleaned and at this point, still sight unseen. We requested to see the car multiple times before moving forward with any paperwork. About an hour later, we were taken to a garage to view the vehicle. When we arrived, all doors were ajar and it was being cleaned. The car was a cpo and we were told that it would be like new. Finally having seen the car, we moved forward with completing the purchasing paperwork only to encounter some botched numbers that would have lead us to pay more than they were offering the car for online. After about 4 hours of being at P&W, we brought the car home and immediately noticed scratches all over the vehicle that could not be seen at the garage due to the poor lighting in the garage and doors being ajar. We also soon discovered that the vehicle needed brakes and tires within approximately 7,000 - 8,000 miles. I was told this is normal for BMWs by this dealership and was told that we were ripped off by three others. Also, the cars rear wheels are completely out of alignment. Also while at our local mechanic, he noticed the door body lines do not match. That coupled with the rear wheels being out of alignment is making me lean towards this car being damaged in some way and passed off as like new. We received a rental car from P&W to get our car fixed and when our car was returned after a month of it being in their shop, we received it with more damage than when it went in. On top of that, they dropped it off with 41 miles left till empty. This car has been to four different shops for various reasons and no matter the choice of communication, P&W will not respond to me.Initial Complaint

I bought a car from this dealership back in July - more than 4 months ago. And haven't received any plates or registration yet. The dealer claims that it has been sent to the titling bureau however can't prove it.Initial Complaint

In March 2022, my husband I took our 2011 BMW 325xi in for servicing. Due to an oil leak. The vehicle remained in their care for several weeks before getting fees back. At this time they stated they ran several test and determined the vehicle needed a néw valve cover. The car was still with them an additional two weeks after the diagnosis. We we’re then giving a price for the work, which was later quoted a different price at pick. Upon, pick up of the vehicle the car wouldn’t start. Which was a huge concern since the vehicle had no issues with starting at drop off. The technician recommend putting my foot an the brake and gas at the same time which seem to be very odd since it never had that issue before. I decided to leave the vehicle until I could get a concrete answer on what the actual issue was. It was later told to us that we had to pay an additional fee for a néw diagnosis which would cost us 700 plus dollars. The concern was not noted on the recommendation form until the day of pick up, which again was very odd. I spoke with several managers and a licensed technician who recommended we have the engine fully diagnosed. We opted to not have the work done since they were unable to give us an honest answer from the beginning. We then removed the car from their care and took it immediately to have a second opinion. Once we received our second opinion it was brought to our attention the vehicle had a recall(not proven) and they refused to touch the vehicles engine due to liability reasons. They offered to change the sensors since that was the code they were receiving. They also, noted several bolts were missing and there was still oil where it should not have been of the vehicle had just been serviced. Fast forward, we take the vehicle home still not starting properly only to notice the initial oil leak was still occurring. We have spoke with several GM, customer relations reps and have yet resolved the issue. We paid them $1400 only to have the same issue
