              I purchased this companies deck cleaning solution and followed the instructions exactly as labeled on the container. The product damaged the wood on my deck requiring me to sand / resurface the entire deck at great expense and effort. I contacted the companies technical support. I was instructed that there was nothing I could do other than attempt to brush the deck surface with a stiff bristle only and when I attempted to do so it only damaged the deck wood surface further. Technical support offered no resolution when I requested a simple refund of the product, I was ignored, follow up correspondence was ignored. Upon review of customer testimonials it was clear that this product is defective and it’s applicability to being used on wood is suspect. This product should be withdrawn from the market until it can be further illustrated that is safe for use on wood.

              I purchased a 5 gallon container of Olympic Maximum in white from **** ***** on 7/17/2022. I was planning to paint a wooden front porch on a rental property I recently purchased. I had approximately 10 hours and 2 coats of paint in to this project when I noticed yellowing on certain spots of the wood. I contacted PPG customer service and talked with a guy by the name of **** *******. He recommended washing the wood with soap and water and if that didn’t work to sand down the wood, prep with acid based cleaner and reapply the paint. At this point I am so dissatisfied with how this project turned out and the hours I have spent, not to mention I spent $202.00 on the paint. I will not be sanding it down and leaving as is. I would not recommend this product or any product from this company.
