      We used this company to close on our first home 2021. This company was suppose to pay delinquent school taxes from 2020. However they failed to pay them in full. Now my home is going to a tax sale Sept 2022. I have called multiple times to get it resolved and they keep fighting me telling me that they have an attorney involved. I’ve contacted the beaver county tax place multiple times to and they stated that the closing company is well aware of their fees and there is no reason why it shouldn’t of been paid in full. They believe they got an attorney to beat round the bush in hopes that is the home owners would pay the remaining balance. My family has suffered major stress and sleep over this matter. I want them to pay the remaining balance and get my house off of the public tax sale!

      In response to the complaint you received, it is unfortunate that the complainant does not understand what occurred. This issue (and we explained it many times) has absolutely nothing to do with American General Services. She is complaining about an open tax that the taxing authority said was not entirely paid. The tax was collected by her lending institution and was to be paid by the lender, not by us. Many times, people tend to blame the closing company when an error or oversight occurs. This was not on our end; furthermore, the lending institution rectified the problem. Enclosed is a copy of the email from the taxing authority indicating that the lender paid it. So, there is the conclusion to your issue and complaint. This was explained to her numerous times, but she obviously didn't listen. If you have any further questions about this, we will be happy to give you any information you require.
