I signed an agreement with Top Notch Roofing to have a new roof (shingles), gutters and downspouts installed for $6,500. I was surprised to get a text message asking for another $495 because the work took longer than anticipated. I paid this $495 (my mistake) as the work was not completed to my satisfaction. The company used old downspouts when our agreement was to replace them. I've contacted Derrick O******** multiple times to have this replaced correctly and he responded he will get to it, but he never has. He has given specific dates and times but never showed up. His word is not to be trusted. I need them to replace the downspout per our agreement. I would also like a refund of the $495 as the contract signed by both of us states $6,500 to complete the job, not $6,995.

In response to the complaint the 495 in addition the contract was for removing an entire roof of an additional layer of shingles. Which caused the guys to do an entire different scope of work because this was unforeseen. This is why I charged the 495 for the additional weight to the dumpster and work that needed to be performed so no delays to the project would occur. There was one section of downspout on the rear left corner that was not replaced do to the location of where the downspout elbow at the ground was to be located. Instead of leaving the downspout disconnected I had my crew connect the downspout into the exsisting downspout. I did reach out a few times to schedule a time for the rear downspout to be replaced and unfortunately the job was not corrected by the former sub contractor when I was told it would or was completed. I would like to rectify this situation and could personally go myself and replace this final piece if that would resolve this matter.  As customers satisfaction is our biggest priority.

    Thanks
    Derrick O********
