I purchased a vehicle in February from 1owner car.Shortly after there was multiple issues with the vehicle.I was told they ordered the parts they would let me know when I could come in and they would definitely fix them.after multiple attempts they where avoiding me.purposely within the 30 day warranty period.i gave them 9000 down and they could not even honor their word and fix the issues like promised. Then they forged documents and lied to the bank without my knowledge about employment. I didn't know until afterwards and was told to lie.i have text message proof of it all.On top of that my car broke down June 13th.my warranty I purchased doesn't cover anything ,plus they deemed my car totaled!totaled!it has electrical issues and water under the floor boards. The dealership said they sold me a flood vehicle. So now I have to deal with my insurance company.i was taken advantage of completely. I am now broke and with no vehicle.i have 4 kids and I'm totally stuck.they really did me wrong.

    Hello,
This is a sale from 02/08/2023. We have not heard from our customer regarding this issue. The only repair that our customer requested was the both sides front headrests which were ordered and stored at our service center for weeks waiting for them to be picked up, even though it was a cosmetic issue we still wanted to make it right for our customer which we always do. Considering the vehicle is being 11 years old, it is pretty likely that the sunroof drain pipes could have gotten clogged and caused a leak from either windshield or sunroof. Since we have not heard from our customer about this issue for the whole winter unfortunately we can not do anything better than guessing. All of our vehicles come with PA state safety and emission inspections and that is provided by a third party repair facility. Our customer reached out to us 07/12/23 and before that we had no idea about any other issues with the vehicle(besides the cosmetic issue with the front seats' headrest which we went ahead and had the parts ordered and kept at our shop). If the vehicle has been parked under the tree and the drains are clogged on it, any glass shop can easily address the issue to clean the drain pipes on the vehicle. We can even recommend a place that we work with and local to us, we always try to make things right for our customers.

    Best regards,

     Complaint: ********

I am rejecting this response because:

I contacted 1 Owner Car on multiple occasions, about numerous issues as you will see in the attached proof. To purposely be pushed off and ignored.which was intentionally done so yous didn't have to fulfill anything within the 30 days.If it's wasn't, beings you relieved a $9,000 cash deposit yous would of stood by the promised to fix all the issues I reported.I left the lot on Empty after putting $9000 down and had to fill my own gas tank. That says alot. Also this costumer found out about the issue with the water the same day you did because i called right after i was contacted by ********.My car broke down June 13th,the warranty that yous sold me that was supposed to cover tow did not cover tow,I had to pay to get my car towed a total of 4 times because the warranty was not accepted anywhere. Also to fix the initial issue of breaking down it would of cost me over $4500 to fix at ******** of West Chester because the warranty of course didn't cover that, then I'm told along with that it needed to be deemed totalled bc the water. So then after figuring out the next steps ******** charged $4000 just to get the vehicle not even fixed bc they said it was totalled. They charged storage and all and wouldn't release it without that.So now the car sits in Copart.unvovered by my Insurance company bc it didn't happen in my policy period. So can you calculate what the car your sold me has cost thus far?Plus being out of work for 2 months? How is that even remotely right or fair?Yous claim to value your customers, be honest, sell state certified vehicles that will be reliable and safe but look what has been done to me.You where also given a chance to do the right thing and make things right.A replacement vehicle or even my deposit back would 100% been the right thing to do.But yous failed to respect your customer and decided to show your true colors and what really matters to yous in the end.

I have all the proof I need and What has been done to me by your Company will not be brushed under the rug.Yous took everything from me.Totally flipped my life upside done and caused me so much stress and debt.

    Regards,

Please see; the following for validation of my secondary claim. 12 CFR § 226.4 - Finance charge. (a) Definition. The finance charge is the cost of consumer credit as a dollar amount. It includes any charge payable directly or indirectly by the consumer and imposed directly or indirectly by the creditor as an incident to or a condition of the extension of credit. Hope you had a great holiday weekend with your family!

Seller-dealer is responsible for perfecting the lien holder and that was done by us thirteen months ago (sale happened in November of 2021), otherwise the lender wouldn't be able to repossess the vehicle. Lenders can force the dealerships to buy the contract back if the lien holder is not perfected within the first 90 days from date of sale. Banks only repossess their collateral due to payment performance. We are not sure what is the complaint here. Sorry to interrupt you if you will have further questions for us you may reach out to us anytime.
