I contacted this company 8 months ago about putting up a shed that came in a package. He quoted me a price of $250 plus gas. We made plans for him to come put up the shed and when he came he did not finish the job. He left the floor undone. There was missing parts in the roof. Door handle does not work. He left exposed to areas for animals to get into. He was supposed to come back to fix the problems and anchor the floor he never did. He lied to me about the price and charged me triple the original price and tried coming up with excuses for the extra funds and I want 700 of my money back. He chose to go pick up Stone which he did not have to do. He never went to the store or asked me to go to the store to pick up extra plywood for the floor and he just left the floor exposed in several areas. Very disappointed. I got ripped off and I want my money back. He gave me no receipts, no nothing and I have reached out to him and he has treated me very meanly. Got smart with me and I will take this to small claims court but I'm reaching out to the better Business bureau to see if this can get resolved because this cost a lot of money. I'm a single senior on a fixed income with multiple health issues and I cannot afford to throw money away. Thank you.

We were contacted and given a verbal quote over the phone, I don’t have anything written down as I was still fresh into owning the business. All I have for documentation is text messages. What we agreed upon over the phone was to come out and assemble the shed after the pad was installed. She was in contact with other contractors or landscapers to get the pad installed then I would come in and install the shed. Finally the landscaper was gonna drop off the stone so we agreed on a price of $250 shed labor installation, $50 for fuel and she accepted. We arrived on site and the stone has not been delivered and the wooden pad was not installed. The landscaper was not going to come out because the ground was soft and didn’t want to damage the yard. Totally understandable. However I did an inspection of the yard and it was solid to hold the weight of the truck and stone. So I talked to ******* face to face and explained to her if we go out and get the stone and assemble the wooden pad she requested to be under the shed there will be an upcharge for additional labor and fuel. She agreed, she followed us to the landscaper to pay for the stone. We had to make two trips in the half ton pick up we brought. We drove through the yard and unloaded the stone by hand. The truck did leave tire ruts which were ½ inch to 1 inch deep. I offered to cover the ruts up with top soil and ******* said “ don’t worry about the ruts, I have to have someone come in and repair the improperly installed French drain so the yard is going to be torn up anyways” I said ok not a problem. Resumed work. Unloaded the gravel, built the wooden platform and as per the shed kit instructions, assembled the plastic shed to the manufacturers specifications. There was no left over materials except the cardboard box and pallets that it came in. ******* also asked us to dispose of the garbage as well which was an additional charge as well. Now upon completion of the shed, I asked her to walk through and give me an honest opinion and see if there was any problems with the assembly. ******* operated the door, inspected the walls, roof, base, floor, windows and couldn’t find anything wrong with it. Now I did mention that the kit did not come with any anchors to bond the shed to the base. I did offer to come back on a later date to install the anchors however I honestly forgot and that is on me I understand that. She agreed for me to come back on a later date. Then we started to discuss payment. And I verbally stated to her because of the additional work load of the job the final installation price is $1,000. Then explained to her the break down of the price. $250 shed installation. $50 fuel. $200 labor to install wooden pad. $300 labor to pick up and unload 2 truck loads of stone as well as wear and tear of the truck that wasn’t capable of the load to begin with. $200 labor to gather up and dispose of garbage. In total the $1,000 covered the labor of two guys and fuel and wear and tear of the truck. With a smile on her face ******* happily said not a problem and went off to the bank for a cash withdrawl and returned then continued to explain how happy she was and super excited its finally complete and very appreciative.

******* did inform me that one of the sunlights in the roof had a missing screw and the corner had started to come up, my guess is that it caught too much sun, warped the plastic and the screw popped out, not sure but the entire shed is made of plastic and explained to her for me to come over and repair a faulty part the manufacturer provided would be an additional cost as she walked through and seen all the screws were in place and there was nothing out of place.

Resolution: I’ll be happy to reimburse her for the garbage disposal fee of $200 in good faith of forgetting about the anchors.

Please let me know if there is anything further I can help out with
