Avak Inc was hired to build a house and failed to do so. While completing house framing mane mistakes were done and framing was not accepted by township inspector. However Avak owner refused to fix the problems and walked out from the job. In addition to ruining already purchased material we as owners had to purchase new materials and pay other contractors to finish the job that was already paid to Avak Inc. While dealing with this matter my husband passed away and i was pregnant. I was concentrating on finishing the house and having the baby. Now, when i have settles i am filing a complaint against this business for their faulty practices and taking on a job that was completely out of their scope of knowledge. I want other consumers know how this business operates (taking payments upfront), not knowing what they are doing, and refusing to fix what was done incorrectly. Also seeking a reimbursement of approximately $18,000 for the job not done and ruined material. Initially they agreed to cover this amount only if i sign some bogus letter that prevents me to suing them for anything else. So need the refund without signing any bogus letters.
