      Child was signed up for a violin rental on 9/11/2019. School closed down to Covid in 2020. I was unaware that I was still paying for the violin as it was on autopay. Rental company never stopped payment due to school closure and school never notified me that I would need to contact the rental company. Upon returning to school kids were remote, still not receiving instrument instruction. The only reason I realized that I was still paying for the instrument was because my card was declined in April 2023. I reached out to the company. On April 10th, ************************* from the Robert M Sides stated that I shouldn't be paying for an instrument that my daughter could no longer use. I paid for the month of April, May, June and July due to the fact that I could not return the instrument during this time. I asked several times how much the instrument would cost due to the fact that I had paid an excessive amount with still needing to return the instrument. I was never given an amount. With that being said, I spoke with a gentleman from Robert M Sides on 10/2/23. He had stated that if I returned the instrument to ************* in Stroudsburg, everything would be "squared away". He did not try to collect the past due payments for August and September at this time. He did not even mention them. I brought the instrument to *** *** ***** on 10/21/23. The company has their instrument and is now trying to threaten to send me to collections for August, September and October. I have still yet to receive a retail price for the instrument. I would like a refund due to the lack of communication on the company's part. It is unlawful to charge for a service while school was closed due to Covid. Child was unable to receive instrument instruction. The screenshot shows a conversation took place on 10/2 with said gentleman. Upon speaking with him today, gentleman said he doesn't recall conversation and was verbally aggressive.
