    I hired Mr Mengini in August 2022 to do some electrical work at my home. He was professional and very thorough in his work. He had done a couple of jobs after that initial job and I was very happy with his work. I decided to hire him to install a generator which we discussed details and plans for its installation. I gave him a down payment of $8,500 in October 2022 so he could order the generator. The check I gave him was cashed shortly after he received it. He and I remained in contact regarding the project through the fall and into the holidays. At the beginning of December I reached out to him to see if there was any update on delivery of the generator from the distributor and he replied he was going to contact them for updates. I have not heard back from him since. I’ve called and texted him multiple times, at different times of the day trying to reach him. I don’t have any other contact information for him so I’m reaching out to obtain assistance for this. I’m concerned that he’s taken my money and ran with it since it’s been over 2 months since I’ve heard from him. I’d like assistance reaching him and getting a refund for the $8,500 deposit I gave him. Please let me know all courses of action with this situation. Thank you in advance for your assistance.
