      I placed an order with the company on 4/3 for a total of $39.62. When I finally received my order on 4/19 the shipment was late. I ordered live plants and they arrived without soil in the containers anymore and the plants were dead. I tried to revive them but it did not work.I contacted the company on 4/20 @ 1:48pm including pictures to request a resolution and still have not received a response.

      I placed a live-plant order on April 9, 2023. On April 10th my account was charged (not just pre-authorized) for the total amount of $64.57. I received 2/3 of the order within a reasonable amount of time. I'm still waiting for the last 3 plants. I've filled out a support ticket several days ago and heard nothing back so I attempted to use the online chat on their website. I'm not sure if ********* was a chatbot or just rude but the convoluted answers amounted to no definitive dates, I asked if I had missed a notice on their website about potential delays in shipping and received no response. She wouldn't respond to my request to cancel the rest of the order, either. So they have my money and I never received the most important plants of the order. So much for Burpees having a good reputation.

      In some reason my bankaccount has got a debit of USD 10,90 from your company. Its very mystery as I do not have made any order to you! No deliveries, no invoice no confirmation etc. I have been in contact with my bank and they can only see a "card transaction". Only trace I have is the comp name W.Atlee Burpees Comp , date 2023-04-23 and a ref no **********.rgds *********************** ****** (hope you understand some of this complaints, not that good in writing in English)

      I purchased ******** vertical squash seed from Burpee in Jan 2023. The seeds failed to germinate despite their guarantee. I contacted them 3 times and they ignored my complaints. Purchase was through ****** for $9.16.

      We purchased various items from this company and did not receive some items. One plant failed to thrive and we requested a refund for the dead plant and a shipping date for sweet potatoes. A phone call that lasted over 15 minutes with my being put on hold for 15 minutes with an employee by the name of ****** resulted in nothing. No answer on refund and no answer on shipping. I am seeking the payment for those two items plus shipping. Dead plant was Pulmanaria, Twinkle ($13.95) and items not received sweet potatoes ($22.95). I have photos of all emails, which I can mail you (usps).

      A while ago I purchased 10 bags of burpees fine vermiculite from *******.About a month ago I needed to use it in my garden and started opening the bags.To my surprise the bags were filled with chunks of something else.I contacted burpee customer service on may 10 about this issue.Their response was that a company they contract with to provide vermiculite filled the bags with alternative sources because there was a shortage of fine vermiculite.What?Since than I've been back and fort with them and they said they would stand by their quality guarantee which is printed on the back of the bag but to this day I am still waiting for a replacement or a refund.I provided all the info they requested from me.

      I placed a seed and plant order with Burpee on 11-28-2021 and contacted them 0n 5-14-22 requesting a shipping update. The agent could not provide me with any real-time information at which time he offered to have me speak to a supervisor and advised me that someone would call me back. That did not occur and I called again today, 5-16-22, and requested a refund for the plant portion of my order. I then received two order confirmations and one credit memo in the amount of $32.02. My original order was in the total amount of $60.17. I am disputing the refund amount of $32.02. There is a difference of $28.15. This is unfair and insulting to a very long-time Burpee customer. The pro-rated refund should be larger.

      On the evening of April 29 (Fri), I placed an order through Burpee's website. They confirmed the order by email and said they would send a tracking number once the order shipped. As of mid-day May 7th (a full week later) I had not yet received a tracking number or other updated status by email, and the Burpee website reported my order as in progress but did not indicate it had shipped nor provide an estimated completion date. After checking the Burpee site and my email, I emailed Burpee customer service to request order cancellation and a full refund, then ordered a replacement product from an alternative site.I never received the shipping notification, but the (now duplicate) product arrived May 10 (Tue). I did not receive a reply to my cancellation request until I followed up on May 11, and then I was simply provided the now-irrelevant shipping information while my issue and request were ignored. Additional follow-up has not received a response.
