1 starPurchased a universal life policy from Equitable Life of Iowa in 1985. All was well for many years through multiple company changes as ********* and its successors - Venerable, Voya, etc. - were purchased by the next buyer. However, since Resolution Life, proactive communications, financial transactions, customer relationship, etc. have been poor. I've lost track of the number of cancellation notices I've received due to lack of proactive communications re: anniversary premium increases and monthly auto-payments. *************************** representatives have always been kind and helpful - it's the "corporate policies & processes" that seem to be awful. Website is helpful, but it's alarming how much data and self-service is unavailable in the 21st Century.I pray that my death benefit and cash value are, indeed, paid to my beneficiaries when the time comes.Review fromBilly W

Bought my ************** Policy from ********* Decades ago. Everything was fine until they sold to Resolution Life and then things went down hill. I had regularly received premium notices with Reliastar but with Resolution Life they never seemed to arrive. A month or so later I would get teh Cancellation notice in the mail. This happened several times so I set up the Auto Draft method of paying. Draft day comes and no draft. Emailed them and no response. It seems they are trying to get me to default on my policy now that I am a Senior. Something very fishy about this company.Resolution Life USA

Bought my original policy from ReliaStar in 1972 as a young newly married E-5 USN. It was a level term monthly military allotment payment. Have steadily continued this method of payment even after I retired in 1988. In 1995 I thought I was reviewing/upgrading my policy. Instead, it was changed to an age based increasing payment. Last month I received a bill for $752 in arrears due in one month or it would be canceled. Paid the $752 to keep the policy in force and requested the newer correct amount. 6 weeks, nothing received. Called again today to get an answer. Just another person from an offshore call center (3rd time) who was more than willing to collect more money but can't help or answer a single question. Have searched the web trying to find a way to connect to real person, no joy. Highly recommend you avoid this company and purchase from a known legitimate company.Resolution Life USA

In August 2024 I needed a copy of my 1099Int for 2023 late filing taxes only to discover that Voya/Venerable no longer managed my account. I was able to speak with representative "Lane" until this new account was set up online and found my data. However, there is no 1099Int history at all. The same with the beneficiary(s) I had set up, nothing there. I made a request for ******* to be resent and customer service was perplexed saying they don't have that data. The online information release form is a joke as the "case" shows "closed" moments after I submitted the release form but there NOTHING there. I've had this whole life policy since 1970 with no problems with customer service, tax reporting and suddenly in 2024 my policy is offloaded to this INCOMPETENT company, Resolution Life USA. Time to look elsewhere if they can get it together to write a check and send it!Resolution Life USA

This company is very difficult to deal, no answer on phone, e-mail that does not show up in any browsers. It seem that this company does not exist. What in the world is going on, not happy, not happy. I got letter from them regarding my endorsment policy, yet not able to get a hold of a real person, or get any information to follow up and determine what is really happening.Resolution Life USA

Nothing but problems since their conversion from Voya. Not responsive. Seem to feel they answer to NOBODY. Take it or leave it......you have been paying life premiums for 20+ years. What are you gonna do? Leave? Their incompetence should be looked into.I simply want to do a beneficiary change since they have no beneficiary on record. Can you imagine that? How do you collect insurance premiums with no beneficiary on record??Not possible to update bene form online. Nobody to answer the phone. What?????Resolution Life USA

1 starAfter discovering through my own research that my payments no longer went through **** (now ********** ****), the incompetent rep I spoke with could not correctly repeat my email address. That should have been my warning that my payment information would also be bungled. Assured by email that my payment was being processed, I figured I was all set. Weeks later I received the cancellation letter for non payment. When I call and gave the confirmation number, I was told that the payment didn't go through. Not even remotely possible if the correct information was applied. In order to be reinstated I'd have to complete a form that was being emailed to me. Much to my surprise, it is a 20 page document asking more information about me than the original policy interview when I purchased the policy. Totally a joke and and completely unnecessary when all they had to do was take payment....again!! No thanks, you can keep your policy and your subpar service.Review fromClifton E

Voya sold my mothers annuity contracts to Resolution Life. She surrendered a ******** annuity and requested an RMD for her IRA ******** annuity. These people flat out lie about sending the checks. They printed a *** label and never gave *** the parcel. They just bought the label and tracking number thinking I'm stupid. This is the most awful company I have ever had to deal with. I'm filing complaints with the insurance commissioner, the *** and the ************************* Next, I'm hiring a lawyer. All these years mom had these policies, first with *** who sold them to Voya who threw her under the bus be selling selling them to these grifters. Thanks a lot Voya.Resolution Life USA

I wrote a previous negative review but this company eventually completed the surrender procedure for an insurance police. It took multiple phone calls but my business with them was resolved and I appreciate this.Resolution Life USA
