On April 24th, I took my 2017 Chevy Trax with 54022 miles to Baierl Chevrolet because it was leaking coolant. I was told that it was the turbo pipes, which they changed out and said it was fixed. At this point I kept checking the coolant levels, which seemed to be dropping again. Around May 8th, I took my car back again, they added dye to my coolant and said it was the turbo pipes again and changed them again. I was keeping an eye on the coolant levels and decided to check my oil, which to me seemed milky, I called and made an appt for May 24th. They said it was the turbo pipes again, changed the pipes and my oil, but said the oil was ok. I got my car back and yet again, noticed the coolant level going down again. I dropped my car off on June 17th, and can not get any answers. I was told that it's the turbo pipes again and possibly the head gasket or cylinder head. My service advisor does not return my phone calls. I have tried to talk to the service manager, who is ignorant, his response to my complaint was to come pick my car up and they will let me know when it can be fixed. I might not be car savvy, but I am pretty sure that if either the head gasket or cylinder head are bad, then the car shouldn't be driven. I am very dissapointed in how I have been treated and the service that I am not getting.

I bought a used 2017 Silverado for over $26,000.00 from Baierl Chevrolet. When I test drove it, I specifically asked the salesman, *****, if EVERYTHING worked on the truck, he said "Yes, I drove this truck for 2 days and everything works", but on the way home I noticed the lights in both door mirrors and the electric door locks did not work. The very next day I called Domonic, the finance guy and told him these 2 issues, he replied " we'll have to get those taken care of". So, I brought the truck in, they fixed the door locks and the driver's side mirror lights. Now they are refusing to fix the lights in the passenger side mirror, they said fixing the driver's side mirror was an accident and they want $500.00 the fix the passenger side mirror. The fix on the mirror is replacing the wiring harness. They did a Pennsylvania State Inspection on the truck, and they passed it with the mirror lights inop. The truck has a towing package installed at the factory as it has trailer brakes installed at the factory and the towing mirrors installed for safety, yet they sold it with them inop. Safety is the utmost important thing towing the family camper. All I want is to have my passenger mirror fixed. I bought a bumper-to-bumper contract being assured it covers everything, , the salesman ***** assured me everything works fine, ( I took him at his word), ***** has given me multiple excuses, their computer system went down for 2 weeks, etc. I'm a 66 year old senior who bought a $26,000.00 truck to tow my camper for my grandkids and family who has one minor problem with my truck, was told everything worked, that it would be taken care of, that my bumper-to-bumper warranty covered everything, and I notified them the 2nd day I had the truck that I bought from BAIERL CHEVROLET, I live in WV and drove to Pa because I have heard alot about Baierl Chevrolet and thought I was in good hands, other than this issue, I love the truck but am starting to think otherwise.....Thank You

    Customer Answer

    Hello,
In regards to the complaint filed by me, #21967854, I realized I left out some info, I purchased the truck on 04/08/2024 from Baierl Chevrolet. As I previously stated Devon told me "everything works on this truck, I drove it for 2 days" I noticed this problem with it, along with a couple other problems, and notified the finance guy Dominic the very next day, 04/09/2024 his reply was "we'll have to get those taken care of". ( I called him because he was the only one to give me his business card) .So I took it in, they took care of everything except the right hand outside mirror, on the passenger door, they did half of the repair. . The salesman Devon, representing Baierl Chevrolet, told me everything works on the truck and Dominic, representing Baierl Chevrolet, the finance guy told me "they'd get this taken care of". Two people representing the Baierl Chevrolet indicated to me the problems would "get taken care of" and even a Pennsylvania State Safety Inspection decal was installed on this vehicle, indicating all the safety items on this truck (including all lights) work as they should, so there is no reason this mirror should work as installed. I hope these facts help. Thank You for your time......Brian Niles

Brian purchased an as-is truck on April 8th 2024. The truck came back twice, once on 04/30/2024 and again on 07/31/2024.Neither time the vehicle was brought back, was Brian charged anything to repair issues on the vehicle. This issue was addressed and fixed. The truck passed PA state inspection because the lighting is considered ornamental.

Made a purchase July 30 of a audi a3. Aug 28 the vehicle suffered engine failure. About a week later talked to the back in which I got a loan through informed me to return vehicle. I called baierl. And they denied request multiple times. Instead told me they would fix it and buy it back for lower cost. I got a loan for the vehicle of &42000. I feel as if I'm being taken advantage of. This is poor business practice and the consumer is punished . I need help please. I have exhausted most of my time trying to even talk to a attorney with no luck and I'm not sure why I can't even find representation or find laws that protect me as the consumer

    To Whom it May Concern:

On July 30, 2022, Mr. ****** drove from Belle Vernon, PA to Wexford, PA to look at and negotiate a deal regarding a 2017 Audi A3. Mr. ****** and Baierl Chevrolet were able to come to an agreeable deal for both sides. A long with the purchase of the Audi Mr. ****** purchased a My Auto Protection Plan, which is a General Motors vehicle service agreement.  The Audi was unable to be delivered that evening due to a wheel that was offsite being repaired. Mr. ****** did drive back a few days later to take delivery of the Audi.

Two to three weeks later Baierl Chevrolet received a call that the Audi had broken down near Somerset, Pa.  Mr. ****** had to wait to have the car towed to the nearest garage and was also charged for the tow.  Baierl Chevrolet offered to reimburse the customer for the tow upon receipt of the invoice from Mr. ******.  We then contacted ****** ******, where the car was taken to. The following day Baierl ‘s had the vehicle towed to the nearest Audi dealer – ********** ****. At no expense to the Customer.

Baierl Chevrolet made arrangements with the service department at ********** **** to have the vehicle diagnosed.  ********** **** diagnosed the issue as an engine failure and communicated the findings to the customer and Baierl Chevrolet.  My Auto Protection Plan is working with ********** **** on the repair.  Throughout this process, Mr. ****** has had a service loaner provided to them by ********** **** and the vehicle service contract. We understand the unfortunate situation ***** is in, but we will not be participating in additional goodwill. We’ve already reimbursed his towing expense and the Service contract (Extended Warranty) will handle the rest.

    Sincerely,

    Jeff N***
