I purchased a 2015 ****** ******** from Whitehall Auto Sales (WHAS) in Oct ‘21 and in both Oct of ‘21 and January of ‘22 I had COVID causing me to miss work for quite some time. With the way the third party sick-leave worked, I received payment after returning back to work - not while being out. I contacted WHAS numerous time letting them know that I couldn’t make those payments until I returned back to work and got the deposits. They repossessed my car anyways with no other choice than to buy it out which is fine. My problem is, they reflected this repossession onto my credit which is unfair because I tried to properly address the situation the best I could for the circumstances of being out sick with COVID twice. Had they literally took my word and waited just a few days they would’ve had all the money owed. I hear stories of how they helped other people out yet I didn’t receive that same treatment. They also fail to properly keep record of info each month. Additionally, they have a duplicate account on my credit for the SAME car. I’ve attempted numerous times by email, call, etc to address this issue as it unfairly represents my credit profile. One of the accounts is closed, the other is still open to this day. (Oct 2023) The first account that is open is for roughly $18,000, the second account that is closed is roughly $8,000. Each time I had contacted WHAS I’ve always been told the owner Haifa isn’t in the office or she’s out of town. I never receive a call back. She’s never there when you go in-person. The only resolution to this problem is that WHAS should remove both reportings from my credit report because they can’t accurately or consistently report real information. At this point the only thing it’s doing to me is biting me in the behind and not allowing me the chance to even fix my credit portfolio. It reflects the same way on both my ******** and *******. You can see they were both opened different dates and have also been inactive for quite some time.

*************** was 3 payments past due therefore we repossessed the vehicle. in regards to the 2 open accounts on his credit report, i spoke to *************** previously requesting a copy of his credit report so we can see exactly what is on the report. As of this date i have not received a copy. In order for us to pull his report i would need written permission from him. The best way for *************** to proceed would be to file a dispute with the credit bureau who would contact us for resolution.

The night of January 4, 2023 my car got towed do to late payment. Had communicated with the dealership that payment would be late a week prior. They explained they understood and would be noted on account but never noted the communication. When I went into the dealership January 5, 2023 to pay past due balance. They said I would have to pay full amount of over $8,000 in 2 weeks or they resell the car and it goes back on the lot. Its in my belief the dealership has scammed me out of a car Ive spent over $9,000 paying on these past two years. In addition to that they said they had a new policy. They never sent me a new or revised contract to sign. So the policy wouldnt apply to me.
