  09/27/2023 Hired ******************************* (M&A BARGAIN BUILDERS) to construct a garage in my back yard to be completed on or before 10/20/2023. He told me it would be completed in 3 days. Paid him $ 1250.00 in advance for his labor. I bought all needed material and permits. He will go with me to order the material because he gets a military discount and free delivery. 10/04/2023 *** finally showed up and we ordered material from home depot. No military discount or free delivery. 10/09/2023 Home depot delivered material. 10/05/2023 to 10/09/2023 Did not hear from ***. Does not answer phone or return my calls or texts. 10/10/2023 *** showed up and wanted more money. Gave him another $ 400.00 10/11/2023 *** didn’t show up or call. Was supposed to be here at 9:00 AM. *** called @ 9:28 AM. He had to take his dog to the vet. He finally answered the phone and told me he is still at vet @ 12:55 PM. Did not hear from him the rest of the day. 10/12/2023 11:12 AM *** called and said he was on his way. *** showed up about 1:30 PM instead of 9:00 AM wants another $ 50.00 so he could pay his rent. Gave him $ 50.00. Worked until 4:30 PM 3 hours of work total. 10/13/2023 *** showed up 10:00 AM instead of 9:00 AM AND SAID HIS HELPER DID NOT SHOW. He has another guy that he is going to pick up to help him. *** wants another $ 150.00 to pay his helper. *** left to go pick up his helper. Then he Called and said he is going to pick up his kid. The school had a bomb threat. That is true but he could take the kid home and left her with his wife and come back. *** told me via text that he has someone to help him on Monday but has to get money from me again to pay his helper after he promised to work the weekend to get the job done. 10/14/2023 to 10/15/2023 No sign of ***. 10/16/2023 *** showed up at 9:30 AM *** wants me to buy a battery and gas cylinder for his tool and $ 150.00 for his helper. Gave him another $ 45.00 and $ 150.00.. *** went to lunch at 12:30 PM. 3 HOURS OF WORK. Came back 2:30 PM Left 3:00 PM ½ hour work. Said he will be back ***orrow at 8:00 AM. 3 ½ hours work total. 10/17/2023 *** asked me for $ 250.00 and another $ 250.00 ***orrow because his wifes son is coming in and they want to take him to dinner. Paid *** $ 100.00 again instead of $ 500.00. *** was supposed to be here at 8:00 AM. Showed up at 10:00 AM. Left at 10:30 to get his wife a pack of cigarettes. gone ½ HOUR Started working again at 10:45 AM. 1:45 PM left for lunch. 3 hours 2:30 PM came back from lunch. 5:30 PM he quit working 3 hours 6 ½ hours total 10/18/2023 *** wants another $ 200.00 paid him. *** said he will work the weekend to do the roof of the garage. *** showed up 10:00 AM. Left at 4:30 PM. 6 ½ hours 10/19/2023 Didn’t show up. Was supposed to be here at 8:00 AM With help. 26 total hours since 09/17/2023. 10/20/2023 Paid ***s helpers $ 150.00 each. Another $ 300.00 paid 10/21/2023 to 10/22/2023 *** did not show up again. 10/22/2023 @ 9:23 AM Got a nasty text from ***. He did not like the way I talked to him about the job. I'm not counting the material he destroyed. About $ 2000.00 worth of lumber. Also borrowed my hammer - ladder - drill and saw horses.
