While working for ****** ****************** ********, who uses ESIS for workmans comp insurance I went to the emergency department as a precautionary measure on 03/19/2021 for an injury I sustained during the arrest of a suspect armed with a knife that was subsequently cleared through the Colorado corporate office as justified. I turned in all billing paperwork to my site manager and thought nothing more of it. The debts in question were turned over to a debt collector who has been attempting to contact me and has caused serious damage to my credit score. I have attempted to contact ESIS numerous times by email and phone, leaving numerous voicemails, and they apparently refuse to return my calls. I reported them to my states labor board and they apparently denied responsibility for the charges.Initial Complaint

Completely unprofessional can never get ahold of case worker, she refuses to respond to emails and calls. Fails to send payments on time which is required by law instead I've gone weeks without payments issuedInitial Complaint

My husband was inured on the job August 2021. His employer uses a company called Esis for their workmans comp claims. This company is by far the worst company when it pertains to calling people back and communicating. We should not have to leave multiple messages and get no response. Also, customer service is rude and not at all helpful. They never offer to transfer you to the adjuster they just give you another phone number you can call and leave a message with. When we stated to customer Service that we were upset we were not getting a call back they got rude and stated well leave a message again. Absolutely, absurd how they treat the individuals with claims.Initial Complaint

I returned the document referred to in the letter attached in December and still have not received any contact, let alone a settlement check. I called the number on the letter and it rings busy before, during and after business hours. I called the ESIS number I provided on 2/11/22 *********** and was sent to the adjusters, ********************************* number, which was an unassigned number which cut me off. I called back and was given a number for Jeanev E****, the claim supervisor. The number just rings, with no voice-mail. **********. 2/15 I called and asked to speak with ***************** from the initial letter, **** or ***** and was given another supervisor's name and number, ******************************* ********** and left a message. I did not hear from her. I called back and was put on hold for 25 minutes while a rep tried to get any supervisor on the phone and then was cut off. I called back and was on hold for 2.5 hours without reaching anyone and I hung up. 2/17, I called again and the customer service person **** said he sent a message to ********************* who should contact me within 24 hours. As of today, no one one has contacted me about my claim #************/*******. All I wanted was a status update after not receiving the check in twice the time the letter states that I would, even after providing them with my home, work and cell numbers.Initial Complaint

The company Esis, Inc Is the company I am filing a complaint about. I was out on workman's comp since July. I am slowly going back to work for a few hours until it adds up to my 8 hours again. I am having problems with them not sending my paychecks. Most times I have to call them asking where my check is. One time I haven't gotten a check for a month. Everytime I call. I get no answer. I got a call back from a number I didn't recognize. Listened to voice-mail which was one from the company. She said to give a call back. I did right away. Ever since no answer. I tried again today (12/22/21) was able to get through to three different people, then one left me on hold of 10 min never getting back to me to keep me posted and the others hung up. I have been dealing with this issue for months!! They are very irresponsible when it comes to getting people their paychecks. Bills don't stop. How can I pay them with no moneyBusiness response

ESIS has contacted the complainant for additional information to determine the claim number and event date for the injury. ***************************** *************************************** ************ Claim # ************ I have been trying to reach ESIS, INC for several weeks. I have a workers comp claim that is being paid by this company. I received a call from a very rude employee ************************* on November 4th that they needed necessary documentation. I mailed the documents that day. I received a letter a few days later 11/11 that they suspended my benefits on 11/9. I have been trying to speak with the supervisor *********************** or anybody that can help. Everyone hangs up on me after placing me on hold. The supervisor doesn't respond to voicemails. I sent a certified letter with more documentation. It was picked up and signed by *************************** and still no one from ESIS has contacted me or continued my benefits. I have not received payment in over a month. I cannot work due to injury. This is causing stress and unnecessary hardship.Business response
